Addition Wealth

Addition Wealth is a holistic financial wellness platform that empowers employees to make smart, informed financial decisions. Backed by Nyca Partners, Anthemis Group, Core Innovation Capital and others.

I joined as the first design hire and was responsible for leading the design organization at Addition. I worked closely with our engineering and product team to establish a scalable design system, as well as the core user experience for our applications. I helped facilitate customer interviews to collect research data. I worked with marketing to create a recognizable brand identity through website design, physical prints, and digital advertisements. I also worked with business operations to identify pain points and introduce campaigns that helped drive client engagement. During my time here, I designed consumer-facing features that helped the company raise over $4.2M+ in VC funding.

Upperstudy

Upperstudy is a design studio that partners with early-stage startups to bring products to life. Founded by former Design Director of Airbnb and Principal Designer of Wealthfront.

I worked with select startups including: Remix, Vanta, Made Renovation, Texino, PumpkinPie and Practica (previously BestPracticer). I was responsible for deliverables such as user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups and prototypes, and establishing a design workflow with my clients. I worked closely with founders, engineers and PMs as the sole designer on various teams. I helped ship over 8+ websites and reduce the typical time-to-market by 60%.

Knowable

Knowable is a contract management platform that provides corporate clients revolutionary visibility into the contracts that govern their businesses. 

During my internship, I worked on designing a contract management feature alongside other design interns and the Head of UX. I conducted user interviews, contextual inquiry, and usability tests with 10+ legal specialists in order to identify pain points and plan feature requirements. Our final project was presented to leadership, and shipped as part of the Q4 engineering sprint.

In my previous roles, I've worked with organization ranging from early-stage startups to Fortune 100, building products that drive growth and improve lives. My experience spans various industries including finance, legal, healthcare and e-commerce.

My goal is to craft digital experiences that blend functionality with craftsmanship, establishing scalable design practices. I bring a diverse perspective to my teams, actively fostering a collaborative culture. By integrating data into my work, I validate decisions and produce meaningful outcomes.
