• Established the design token strategy, leading the co-creation of a naming system with over 40+ tokens at launch, resulting in platform-wide consistency and clearer semantic meaning for colours and spacing

• Revamped the election vote planning microsite by creating and conducting a user test plan with a focus on accessibility to prioritize and inform specific changes, leading to a 48% increase in saved plans
• Launched a new Guide experience section of the City’s website, working with content strategists to deploy 2 guides, resulting in growing to over 10+ Guides by 2021
• Pitched and accelerated the Figma migration internally, eliminating ineffective tooling and establishing an initial Figma design library of over 40+ components within 3 months

• Produced videos for clients, working on narratives to help communicate their brand and tone
• Managed iterations from pre to post-production

Worked on the Clinical & Systems Transformation (CST) digital healthcare transformation project, designed to bring digital patient records to improve the continuity of care, safety, quality and consistency of patient care across 3 Health Authorities (Vancouver Coastal Health, the Provincial Health Services Authority and Providence Health Care). 

• Published over 5 videos and designed 3 posters, collaborating with the communication team to deploy assets across the province

👋 Hello! I'm Jordan Yep — a product designer, conference presenter, design mentor, podcast host, and coffee enthusiast, with over 4 years of experience launching features from 0>1, providing design token naming strategies, and contributing to design systems. I specialize in transforming ideas into product reality with experience in enterprise, startup, and government-level companies. 

Throughout my career so far, I've launched and delivered solutions that have helped people find relevant information faster, enhanced accessibility in voting, and provide businesses with insights through voice AI search. I've also contributed to internal design systems, built component libraries from scratch, implemented design tokens, and created dark mode solutions. 

I currently work at Jostle, an employee success platform, where I lead the design for the Search team and our implementation of design tokens. I'm also passionate about mentorship and knowledge sharing: running external workshops, and mentoring designers via BobaTalks. I also co-host the Frontlog Podcast!
