I am fluent in Spark, SQL, and Python, which enables me to effectively focus on business problems. I have a deep expertise in Healthcare and Marketing business domains.

How can I make a difference for your company?

1️⃣ Business first. My primary focus is on how my delivery is suitable for stakeholders. Is it convenient for BA / Product? Is it accurate? Is it future-ready? What are the project's priorities and constraints? I tend to ask 1-3 critical questions before implementation. If needed, I will add a pros and cons/tradeoffs story to prevent misunderstanding. Then, I am fully committed to the results we decided on.

2️⃣ Architecting & Delivering. I have a solid grasp of fundamentals, data concepts, and diagramming. Additionally, I am fluent in SQL and Python coding. So, I can flexibly switch between coding-focused tasks and higher-level system design challenges. For example, in the morning, I plan to present the architecture diagram for the PoC in LucidChart for the new AI-driven pipeline. After lunch, I will refine the PySpark pipeline to process a dataset of over 1 billion records. Before the evening, I may investigate the production incident and document findings.

3️⃣ Drive to move things further and help others, if they need it. After you talk with me, you will feel the energy.

Here is what I was able to accomplish in 4 years working for Oasis and Repario:
1. Managed an entire #SQLServer #infrastructure footprint (70+ servers in US/UK private cloud, and 10 in #AWS public cloud, including #FedRAMP environment) with 9K+ #databases and over 5PB of disk space.
2. Released 40TB of disk space storage by identifying unneeded database files and #backups
3. Saved $18K/month on #virtualization costs by identifying underutilized servers that could be #consolidated or retired
4. Automated #DBA operations to manage 9K databases, avoiding 2-3 additional DBA hires (~$30K/month)
5. Stabilized the existing environment to reduce the number of P1 and P2 incidents by 80%
6. Reduced time-to-provision access from hours to minutes by automating and standardizing permission grants

With over 5 years of experience in data science, I've been fortunate to work on high-impact projects at leading tech and AI companies, including Lyft and Reface. My work has helped optimize routing algorithms, reducing operational costs, and increasing profitability, while improving customer satisfaction across multiple industries. My technical expertise spans geospatial optimization, A/B testing, machine learning, using Python, R, SQL, and big data tools like PySpark.

In addition to delivering data-driven results, I’m deeply committed to mentoring and developing the next generation of data scientists. I’ve mentored data specialists at at Ampersand Foundation and ADPlist and co-developed educational courses in data analytics. I also regularly contribute as a speaker and judge at global hackathons, fostering innovation in AI and data science communities.
