I'm currently in a full-time SaaS leadership role while building Authority Signals, where I help other SaaS professionals grow their presence, sharpen their voice, and attract opportunity, without needing to go viral.

After more than a decade in SaaS, leading CS teams, building onboarding playbooks, and navigating the emotional pressure of being “the glue” - I realized something:

Global Patent Solutions LLC

Hired back as a 1099 independent contractor to support the firm's PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) patent prosecution efforts. Specialized in general business methods, particularly, artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, healthcare IT, mobile computing, etc. Examined approximately 250 patent applications in three years.

Claims analysts review returned mail sent to class action lawsuit plaintiffs, research the plaintiff's current address, and then forward the mail to the new location. In this role, I processed an average of over 90 pieces of mail per day at a data entry accuracy rate exceeding 97 percent.

● Progressed from underwriter to QC team within first 3 weeks of assignment. 
● Processed 130+ tenant applications in under 3 months, with a 58% successful placement rate.
● Performed daily QC checks on work done by approximately 10 underwriting staff members.

Underwriter/QC Analyst

● Executed database research operations, Boolean query construction, patent classification, data analysis and manipulation, legal opinion writing, and presenting information based on analysis of patent and non-patent information acquired from multiple disparate data sources under short deadlines.
● Prosecuted 1000+ international (PCT) business method patent applications within 9 years, covering healthcare, finance, insurance, secure transactions, blockchain, social networks, investments, and transaction fraud, filed under the Patent Cooperation Treaty. 
● Conducted 100+ patentability, invalidity, infringement clearance, and accelerated examination searches for commercial clients within 2 years. 
● Started a Patent Bar Exam preparation class for 10 colleagues. Streamlined and standardized entire set of commercial search report templates, improving efficiency and analyst training process.

Senior Research Analyst

● Managed paper and electronic internal filing systems for 25+ legal secretaries and their attorneys in commercial litigation, commercial real estate, and bankruptcy practice groups, improving efficiency and ease of retrieving critical documents on short notice. 
● Utilized MS Excel to manage litigation support through organizing and tracking 1,000+ discovery documents produced from opposing parties in civil lawsuits. 
● Assumed responsibility for electronic court filing (ECF) of documents in state and federal courts, freeing-up paralegal resources and increasing practice group case management efficiency.

Legal Project Assistant

● Provided administrative, technical, and legal support to case workers and case managers.
● Conducted criminal background and driving records checks on 75 volunteers per month.
● Audited case files on monthly basis to ensure compliance with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America's standards for regular contact with volunteers, parents, and children.
● Upgraded existing MS Word and Excel documents into MS Access database for ease of information storage, retrieval, and reporting.
