Twenty years in marketing gave me creativity, challenges, and the satisfaction of helping clients grow. But after two decades, something was missing.

I no longer felt fulfilled.

It was time to ask myself: If not marketing… what would I do?

I’ve been happily married for 22 years. 
I’m the father of six incredible kids. 
And I believe fatherhood is the most important role a man will ever have.

But I also know the reality for many fathers… 
Coming home exhausted, distracted, and feeling like they’re falling short. I’ve lived it myself. 

With the help of my own mentors, coaches, and a lot of hard personal work, I learned how to rebuild presence, gratitude, and connection at home. 

Now, I’ve made it my mission to help other men do the same through my Unstoppable Fathers Movement—a system designed to help fathers step into their role as protectors, providers, and leaders—so their kids feel cherished, their wives feel loved, and their families thrive.

I have completed over $2 billion in renewable energy tax credit transfer transactions between investment grade buyers and renewable energy sponsors.

Experian Employer Services

Responsible for strategy for Experian's Employer Services division, driving growth and development of our tax credit services business and working closely with our mergers & acquisitions team on corporate development opportunities.

Experian Employer Services (EES) was formed as the combination of three companies (Corporate Cost Control, Tax Credit Co. and Emptech) acquired by Experian in late 2020 and early 2021.    EES provides best-in-class solutions for Verification of Employment & Income (VOE), Unemployment Cost Management Solutions, I-9 Management and Tax Credit Services such as WOTC, R&D, Employee Retention Credits, Employment Tax Solutions, and other Federal and State Employment and Hiring Incentives.   We are leaders in performance, service and innovation, working with over 3,000 clients including the majority of the Fortune 500.

In 2022, worked with the M&A team and the business to source, analyze, diligence and negotiate the acquisition of CIC Plus, the premier provider of specialized W4, W2, and ACA payroll compliance solutions integrated with Workday and Oracle. HCM platforms.

Over three years, was responsible for building and managing a specialized tax credit sales organization that helped deliver financial performance in excess of 50% over the acquisition EBIT plan and annual budget, on average.

Chief Strategy Officer

Tax Credit Co., a part of Experian

Took over as CEO of Tax Credit Co. (TCC) as part of a buyout transaction in 2009.   Focused on building the right team and setting the strategy to transform the business from a thirty-employee boutique consulting business to a 200-employee diversified technology-enabled services company integrated with payroll and human capital management software platforms.   TCC served over 10% of the Fortune 1000 with tax credit screening covering ten million annual hires and employment verification covering over two million employees.

Along the way, sold a minority interest to Veronis Suhler Stevenson (VSS), a private equity firm, in 2012 and added two acquisitions, Incentives Advisors in 2013 and uConfirm in 2019, both without additional equity capital.  Over 12 years, increased revenue 10x, EBITDA 24x and enterprise value over 100x.

In April 2021, managed the process of selling TCC to Experian, then assisted with the transition to and building of the new Experian Employer Services division.

The key to TCC’s success was paying attention to the needs of the corporate tax departments and other corporate stakeholders in ways that other firms would not or could not.   We focused on enabling the best talent in the industry to make clients love us, drive performance that clients care about, and deliver innovative solutions to high-value problems.   As a result, we were given the opportunity and responsibility to manage the largest and most complex client programs in the industry.
