The "AI will kill SaaS" takes are missing the entire point.

I keep seeing otherwise brilliant people argue that AI will end Software-as-a-Service because now anyone can build software.

But here's what they're getting wrong:

SaaS was never really about the software.

When a company buys Salesforce or Stripe or Snowflake, they're not paying for code they couldn't write themselves.

When I started working on this project... 

My goal was NOT to build a better Jira. 

It was to make the whole "update your tickets" problem irrelevant.

When I interviewed a few users, I realised that the real issue wasn't Jira's interface or features. 

It was that task managers require humans to stop working to update them.

So we just... don't.

But what if a task manager could update itself?

With Verk, you can create a task. 

Assign it to a human, and work just like you would.

I made the task-manager minimalistic, and forced myself to use it, till the time I no longer missed Jira.

But the best part about Verk isn't just the UX.

I'm working on making this a platform, where you can create your own AI agents, and have them work on your tasks on auto-pilot.
