MY STORY:

As a mentor, coach, & and servant leader, I have served over 50,000 families and led 100+ direct reports in the span of my 20-year career as an education leader. I have coached and mentored 1000s of stakeholders (students, parents, teachers, counselors, psychologists, social workers, ed leaders, and teams) to expand their capabilities, achieve progressively challenging goals, and overcome obstacles. I have coordinated and led over 200 conferences, including being a keynote speaker.

​After experiencing chronic stress and habitual burnout, I resigned during the pandemic, in December 2020, so I could be a better mom to my kids and a better human to myself. I used restorative practices and the tools and techniques I have learned to patch and fill my own bucket, find harmony and joy again, and be the best mom possible. As a life-long learner, I am dedicated to gaining and sharing knowledge.

Referred to this role by an Underwriter that worked at Member Home Loan Credit Union as responsible for processing loans using Encompass originated by (3 to 5 Loan Officers) following policies/procedures & the guidelines.  Closings per month 12-20 loans each month. Had conventional purchase, refi's, cash-out refinance, HELOC & renovations some being Jumbo loans.  FHA and VA loans. 
Most loans retained in the C.U. portfolio, but others are sold on the secondary market.  Primary responsibilities demand for accurate processing, validating info on doc's, make sure for timely closings. Maintaining effective communication with the members/Borr's to ensure coordination & exchange/collection of info. for accomplishing the closing of the member’s home loan.  Asked if any new Constr. loans could be  assigned to me if & when came in.  When Govt. loans came into the dept. myself & other Processor would handle them.
Working with first and second mortgage real estate loans following federal regulations etc. 
Review of AUS. Work on & gather Approval conditions. Verify the accuracy and integrity of all loan data entered into the system, portfolio loans and loan information (i.e. loan amount, interest, terms, lock  expiration dates, etc.)
Communicate with members/Borrowers to provide them with overview of  process & inform the member of information & docs necessary to process the loan. Conduct follow-up on missing docs needed to keep file on track for on time closing. Work direct with Underwriters to assist to obtain CTC. Most  loans RUSH Purchase loans. From loan assignment, Cond. Approval, CTC & in Closing in 21 days or less.  Mostly working with Purchase loans but with a splash of refinance business 75%/25% split. Loan types- Conventional, Jumbo, Jumbo with or without renovation, USDA,FHA, VA and new construction loans. 2 or 3 loans a month manufactured home loans. Working S.E. Borrowers with investment properties.
Getting all loans submitted as clean as possible in 48 hours (max) from loan assignment. I was contacted via LinkedIn and then by phone. Received 3 requests from the recruiter (during approx. 3 months) to come to work at Interlinc,  I said No Thank you Sir 2 of those times. On 3rd request however end of year Dec 2020,  I did speak to the Hiring Manager & was offered  a good job, better annual base salary & a sign on Bonus. Thought it was a good move & a blessing timing wise. My Family was having financial & life events at that time. Covid-19 Pandemic causes and issues.

As Team Leader of the Processing staff. Member of the Management team. A Team of Four.  2 Loan Processors, 1 Set up person and myself.  Providing help and assistance to Loan Officers and other staff. Working with Encompass. As part of the Leadership team (Lead of the Processing department) attended Management meetings daily for 20 meetings every Morning (were much like Scrum daily meetings) Using that same concept. 
Was also on the Loan Committee.  Would meet every other day in the morning to discuss loan files that needed troubleshooting or to go over new loans with Loan scenarios.   Handled own processing pipeline but smaller about 10 to 15 loans each month.  Gave once a month training to Loan Officers and Loan Officer Assistants on various subjects and whatever they asked to have more trainings on.
Handled the Hard Money loan files the documents, filing system and working with Investors and banks to get these funded. Would jump in on any of the other Processors loan files that needed assistance. Worked with United Wholesale mortgage on the other loans Conventional, FHA or VA loans. 
Provided assistance to Loan Servicing team when needed. Maintained Pipeline reports and meetings.  Handled difficult Customer calls or in person when Customers came to the office. Would help when and where needed. 
Company moved the office from Galleria (close to home) to downtown Houston, more of a drive and not so nice area, had to park auto on dirt/mud. eCU Mortgage,  the Mortgage Dept. to & for First Service Credit Union.  First Service Credit Union a great Credit Union to work for this dept. was in the Credit Union but operated separately.
Recruited to go work here as the Lead Sr. Loan Processor by a past co-worker (an Underwriter) whom had started working at this company a couple months prior.  Assigned to work with  7 Loan Officers. The Dept. had high turn over right before and right after I came onboard. Being the Lead, for 3 Jr. Processors 1 of them Refinance ONLY working with them mentoring them helping/training & gave guidance on files etc. as needed.    The Dept. was under a new unskilled Branch Manager NOT from Texas but from out of state. The previous Branch Manager had passed away she was a great Manager and I had worked for her in the past. The New Manager that took over from out of state he took over. The previous Lead Sr. Loan Processor quit moved to another state ( I became the Lead), Another Dept. Manager resigned took another job gave no notice. It was high stress compounded with loans piling up not having been worked in a timely manner.  Upper management,  New Manager was not able to grow it, wanted to run things like a football team instead or a professional mortgage office. He did not help turn things around or make it a better thriving work place. Worked excessive OT hours for extended amount of days, was assigned a high volume of loans. I rolled my sleeves up I myself closed nearly $5 million in my own pipeline.  Pipeline was 10% of Non-QM loans, Conv, FHA & VA with some small % of refi's.  The short staff & being under much stress all the staff became unprofessional. The office became a Toxic/unprofessional workplace. Foul language etc. **Dept. had some (lay offs).  eCU Mortgage the Dept. shut down/closed doors in end of 2019.

Did mortgage Loan Processing for 5+ Loan Officers during my employment. Worked closely with Underwriters to fast track many RUSH loans. Worked to gather loan conditions in, reviewed and to get loans approved to Clear to Close status. Assisted closing dept. getting loans CD's out in a timely manner.  Pipeline management of 30+ loans per month. H2O- L.O.S. Processing mostly quick close/Rush loans - Loans closing in 7 to 10 days. (Conv, VA.,FHA, new construction, USDA & Manufactured home loans.
