Pros:
- Ultra-fast summarisation of long texts.
- Good at extracting key entities, relationships, and topics.
- Can handle multiple formats (text, tables) if converted appropriately.
- Provides a “first-pass” analysis so you don’t start from blank.
- Repeatable and consistent (for the same prompt & input).

Cons:
- May (rarely) hallucinate or invent details that aren’t in the document.
- Doesn’t always catch domain-specific nuance or technical subtleties.
- Performance degrades on very long documents (context window limits).
- No guarantee of source attribution or traceability.
- Biases in training data may skew interpretation.

Do’s
✅ Always give context or purpose before asking for analysis.
✅ Break large docs into smaller chunks for processing.
✅ Ask for both summary and insights/implications.

How to get started on Claude Code

(Even if you don’t code):

Claude code has made it incredibly easy for all of us to build small little tools to solve our problems.

Here's exactly how to get set up:

Step 1: Get set up

Go to claude(.)ai → upgrade to Pro → download the Claude Desktop App

Step 2: Open Claude Code

Click the "Code" tab inside the app.
(You don’t need to work in the terminal if you can’t code)

Step 3: Select a folder

Pick a folder on your computer for Claude to work in…in this folder add ONLY the necessary documents it needs to complete the task.

Step 4: Paste this prompt

Once your Claude Code set up is complete, use this prompt to start building:

"I want to build [WHAT YOU WANT]. 
Context: [industry, audience, goal]. 

I don't code. Before starting, ask me any questions. Then build the simplest possible version, show me what you made, and explain each file in one sentence.”

That's it.

A year ago, you needed a developer, a budget, and a timeline to build something.

Now you just need a folder and a few prompts.

How to create your second brain
(That works even when you’re tired):

Most people paste a prompt into ChatGPT and hope for the best.

The best are focused on giving it CONTEXT.

AI doesn't know you. It doesn't know how you talk, what you've done, or what makes you different.

So it defaults to corporate buzzword soup.

You need to build what I call a "Second Brain" - a folder that teaches AI how to be you. It takes less than an hour to set up.

Then AI thinks and writes exactly like you forever.

Here's how:

Step 1: Download the Claude App

Go to claude(.)ai, create an account (if you don't already have one) and download it for your desktop. (You need Pro or up version for this)

Step 2: Open Cowork Mode

Click the "Cowork" tab at the top. This is your permanent workspace where all your context lives.

Step 3: Select Your Model

Choose Opus 4.6 as your default. Turn on extended thinking too. It's the best at following instructions and capturing voice.

Step 4: Share Your Stories

Use voice-to-text (I use Wispr Flow) and dump 5-10 stories. Failures, wins, turning points. Keep adding more as you grow.

Step 5: Pinpoint Your Strengths

Add your IP - I shoved all my best infographics, YouTube videos and newsletters in there. Include the frameworks you use, what’s your process, what your customers want from you etc.

Use this prompt to create the .txt files:
“Turn this into a clean .txt file with labeled sections. Keep my voice, don't add anything new [paste your content here].”

Step 6: Document How You Think

Your actual hot takes that can create haters. No lukewarm opinions. This is what makes you YOU.

Step 7: Define Your Voice

Words you use a lot ("cuz," "honestly"). Words you'd NEVER use (“vacations,” “quietly” 🤮). How you actually talk vs how AI sounds.

Step 8: Use This Prompt

I'm sharing the exact prompt I use in the comments. It creates an interactive "Second Brain" that thinks, talks and writes like you.

Most people will read this, save it and forget about it.

Growing up, I knew I wanted to help a lot of people.
As a Brit, it feels embarrassing to say out loud but I wanted to "change the world."

But I had no idea how.

I knew I loved helping people and coaching.
But I never expected to be posting online.

At Stanford I took a class on personal branding. 
And I walked away from it feeling…

"Posting online is just for famous people and snake oil salesmen."

But eventually, I started posting because I wanted to build software for chemical distributors and figured LinkedIn was a good way to reach them.

My first posts didn't go far. But I found great coaches, learned quickly, and kept posting. 

It wasn't long before I realised I could help a lot of people.

Real people were reading, responding, and making changes in their lives from what I was putting out there. 

Fast forward 2 years: 
→ 438,000+ person community 
→ Work with awesome CEOs of multi-billion dollar companies

Posting here taught me when you give at scale, you get back at scale.
