In my current position as the CTO, I continue to steer our Core Tech Team, maintaining a conducive environment for idea-sharing, goal-setting, and the seamless execution of technical standards across the company. My role extends to nurturing a culture of continuous learning and improvement among the team, ensuring we are at the forefront of technological advancements.

Supporting our sales department during pivotal customer engagements, I leverage my technical knowledge to foster trust and understanding with potential clients, aiding in the expansion of our customer base and contributing to the overall growth of the company.

Furthermore, my responsibilities include providing support on a variety of technical and interpersonal issues to all colleagues, facilitating an environment where challenges are addressed promptly and efficiently. Through regular 1:1 meetings, I engage with many colleagues, assisting them in improving their communication, leadership, and technical problem-solving skills, thereby nurturing a workplace culture that encourages personal and professional growth for every team member.

My overarching goal remains to be a catalyst for innovation, ensuring our technical strategies align with the evolving market demands and contribute significantly to achieving our company's long-term objectives.

Chief Technology Officer

Lead of Core Tech Team: As lead I am responsible to organise group of senior developers, prepare all our meetings, set goals which we want to achieve, bring new ideas to the table and help implement technical standards across the company. My goal is to be opened to all ideas, support the best way I can any colleagues which need it and help solve any issues coming our way.

People Lead: This role give me the privilege of connecting with colleagues on a more personal level through our 1:1 meetings. I actively listen to their concerns, understand their day-to-day challenges, and guide them towards career advancement.

Product Owner: Leveraging my technical expertise, I translate customer insights into actionable product stories. I'm able to consider and imagine diverse use cases and understand their impact on the development process.

Lead developer: Working as lead developer gave me responsibility of delivering quality product and taking care of our team at the same time. I believe when you have great people in your team, that most issues can be resolved by proper, opened and on time communication. At the same time I was responsible to design and develop whole backend architecture.

Head of Technical recruitment: Making sure we find fitting & skilled engineers for projects by conducting and refining interviews.

I am Narayanan (Rayn). 

I'm currently co-founder & CEO of Scriptbee, an AI-powered easy-to-use marketing platform for the all channels. 

My entrepreneurial journey began in 2019 when I co-founded Unschool, an EdTech startup focused on upskilling. Backed by Y Combinator (W21) and renowned angels like Kunal Shah and Mekin Maheshwari, we made significant strides in transforming how people learn with nearly 250,000 users. Unschool earned recognition on Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list (2024), HolonIQ's Top 200 EdTechs in Asia, and LinkedIn's Top Startups List (#3 in 2020).

My path hasn't been conventional. When formal education demanded I abandon what I loved – lawn tennis, theatre, and music – I decided to forge my own way. I dropped out of college in 2015.

Through my journey working at McDonald's to AIESEC National President Nepal to Y Combinator alum, I've learned that experience can trump formal credentials. This drives my passion for helping others shift from a "Whatever" to a "What Matters" mindset.

The highest-paying job in tech will soon be marketing.

This isn't a hot take anymore. It's showing up in the data.

Netflix just posted a communications role paying up to $775,000.
OpenAI is offering marketing and comms roles north of $400,000.
AI-enhanced marketing roles now command 60% higher salaries than their traditional equivalents.

Meanwhile, software engineering job postings have collapsed.

This is what actually happened.
We spent 20 years telling people to learn to code. Code was the moat. Code was the leverage. Code was the future.
Then AI got really good at code.

Now the bottleneck is not being able to build, it's the ability to sell, to market. You can build anything overnight. 

The problem is nobody knows about it, nobody trusts it, nobody cares.

And that problem — making people care — is the one AI cannot solve.
Job postings mentioning "storyteller" doubled between 2024 and 2025.

Corporate leaders mentioned storytelling 469 times during earnings calls in 2025. Up from 359 the year before.
The market is telling you something.

Distribution, narrative, trust — these are the new scarce resources in tech.
I have seen this firsthand. The difference between startups that scale and ones that stall is rarely the product. It is almost always the story and who is telling it.

The robots write the code now.
Only humans can explain why anyone should care.

Launching a SaaS few months back, I did not even imagine we would be representing the top startups at SXSW.

But here we are. Scriptbee has been selected to be part of the German Haus at SXSW 2026 in Austin, Texas.

As a lean team building an AI-native marketing platform for SMBs. The kind of marketing that used to require a full team, now running without one.

This is a massive platform for us to showcase what we’re solving.

At some point, life stops being something that happened to you.

And starts being something you're responsible for.
I dropped out of college in 2015. No safety net. A lot of people told me I was making a mistake.

Some of what they said came from a real place. Some of it was projection.
Either way, it didn't matter. Because I had to figure it out myself.

That's the thing no one talks about enough. Life is genuinely unfair to everyone. A little to some, a lot to others.
But you cannot spend your whole life cataloguing what went wrong.

At some point, the work of healing and growing becomes yours. No one is coming to do it for you.

Not your parents. Not your investors. Not your team.

That's not harsh. That's actually the most freeing thing I've come to understand as a founder.

Because once you own it, you can actually do something about it.

The fastest way to grow your business? 

"Ask your best customers why they chose you."

and then, tell that story to everyone else.

Most founders and marketers skip this entirely.
They write about features. Benefits. Roadmaps.

Meanwhile their best customers already have the perfect pitch sitting in their heads.
The exact words. The exact problem. The exact moment they decided to trust you.

That is your marketing.

Go find it.

People are counting the wrong number.

The business and life world for that matter is about efficient, fulfilled happiness and high impact when you’re actually awake versus wasting time on silly things...

Life is ups and downs for everyone...

The reality is most people aren’t joyful because they aren’t reacting to the “down times” well. 

Once you get cozy with the dirt, the bad, the garbage, the issues, that’s when shit gets good
