I spent 10 years in digital marketing at NIVEA and am now running marketing for Sampl - the market leader in digital product sampling.

Too many brands still run sampling campaigns like it’s 2005. Unmeasurable and disconnected from the rest of their marketing.

I joined Sampl to help fix that. I hired them when I was at NIVEA, and I've seen firsthand how sampling can become a reliable growth channel.

At the start of the month, Rachel M. and I ran a webinar on how brands are using our new sampling partnership on THG Beauty.

We covered how targeted sampling works for different goals. 

Launching new products, building reviews before peak trading periods, and reaching new customers. 

The things that directly help when you need to increase sales (rather than just shipping out free products and hoping they do)

The OLEHENRIKSEN (LVMH) campaign is a great example. 96% of purchases came from people who'd never bought the brand before. 600+ reviews in two weeks. 200% lift in conversion. 

It's possible to track from the sample request through to the sale.
