I am the author of "How To Be A Neuro-affirmative Parent". 

The journey of writing and publishing this book has been incredibly rewarding. It's based on my lived experiences and research on nurturing neurodivergent children, including my own.

I have 10 years of corporate planning experience in Singapore, where I am originally from. I moved to Perth, Australia in 2011 to start a family.

Next year, I'm regressing and I mean that as a compliment.

My goal for 2026 is to communicate like I'm teaching a 5-year-old while writing at a 9th grade level. 

Why? Because the best ideas shouldn't need a dictionary to understand.

Too often, we hide behind complex words and jargon to sound smart. 


➡️ We write emails that take three reads to understand.

➡️ We present slides packed with buzzwords.

But real intelligence isn't about sounding impressive, it's about making the complicated simple.

I've noticed that the smartest people I know are also the clearest communicators. 
They don't overcomplicate things. They get to the heart of an idea fast and make it stick. 

That's the skill I want to build in 2026.

So I'm challenging myself to strip away the fluff, cut the corporate speak and get straight to the point. 

No more fancy vocabulary. 
No more paragraphs that could've been one sentence.

And most importantly, it is because I am respecting my audience's time.

As we approach International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3rd December , it's important to also acknowledge hidden disabilities include conditions like Fibromyalgia, Autism, PTSD, Learning Disorders and many others that aren't immediately visible to others. 

When people can't SEE your challenges — they may not understand, help or even believe you.

To better support people with hidden disabilities, we can take several actions, such as,

💙 Educate ourselves and others about invisible conditions. Don't assume everyone "should be xxx".

💙 Establish safe spaces where people feel comfortable asking for help. The keyword here is help, they are not special treatment.

💙 Believe people when they share their struggles. It took them a lot of courage to speak up.

Elon Musk appeared on Nikhil Kamath's "People by WTF" podcast aired on 30 Nov 2025.

I got curious and did some summary so you don't have to.😊

Here are in my opinion, the most important points from their nearly 2-hour conversation:

✔️ Musk predicted that work could become optional within 10-20 years due to advances in AI and robotics, describing a future where work might be "like a hobby".

✔️ Musk identified three critical ingredients for safe AI development: Truth-seeking, Appreciation of beauty and Curiosity. 
He also warned that AI systems trained on lies/propaganda could become dangerous.

✔️ Musk predicted that live events will become increasingly valuable as digital media becomes essentially free, making physical presence the scarce commodity.

✔️ In a future with abundant AI and robotics, traditional concepts of money and work could become obsolete, with energy potentially emerging as the real underlying currency of value.

✔️ Musk argued that video games have evolved from Pong to photorealistic experiences in just 50 years, and if this trend continues, games will become indistinguishable from reality with highly intelligent AI characters. This makes it likely we're already in a simulation.

Lastly, 
Musk's core advice for Entrepreneurs ⬇️
Aim to make more than you take and be a net contributor to society, accept meaningful chance of failure, and focus on creating valuable products rather than pursuing money directly.

A household book that needs no introduction. I don't usually inclined to financial books but this one hits differently.
This book teaches that financial success isn't about what you know but about how you behave with money. 
The keyword here is Behave.
