In 2008, I was working at a call center when an inbound call arrived. It was a client calling from the US, his card had been blocked. I solved the problem, which caught the attention of my supervisors, who asked me to start helping the team with inbound/outbound calls in English, like an ESL first-response team. That's how it all started for me as a private teacher. After that, I went to ECC. Today, four years in and out of COVID, I learned and relearned the ropes. Adapted and survived in this business with the help of many people, you know who you are. It all started with translation jobs, then added classes, and now it's a bit of both, with more revision than translation. AI is doing the hard work now.
It's been five years since I turned it into a SME.

Almost 10 years inside that building was incredible. Met great students and teachers, worked with MacMillan Inside Out series. Some students would ask for New Headway, not the easiest book to work on in class. That's where I first got contact with journalists, which helped increase my reading and writing skills.
