meanwhile, AI might be one of the most important innovations of our lifetime.

and most people have no idea who the people shaping this future really are.

they only see headlines. not humans.

and i hate how AI is making it WORSE.

i grew up on tech.
i breathe tech.
i love tech.

and i’m still annoyed…

not at the players. not at the game.
if ur playing the game. u’ve got all my respect 🫡

i just hate the fact that we’re taking the most talented engineers and creatives on earth and wasting their energy on agents that increase your productivity by 15% or sort your inbox like you can’t do it yourself like an adult.

yes, B2B SAAS is money.
B2B SAAS is exits.
B2B SAAS is higher probability to get funded.

i get it.

but why are we playing the game?

and for who?

ourselves? funds? humanity?

jobs was different cause iphone gave ppl a daily xp they’d never felt before.
elon is different cause teslas were 100x better than any other car on the road.
zuck is different cause fb connected ppl like never before.

that’s generational shit. we need more of that.

i’ve been in SF these last weeks. met a lot of founders. looked at the last YC batch with 80% B2B SAAS companies… i’m kinda sad.

i’m sad cause the valley that gave us Airbnb, Twitch, Uber, Waymo and more.. can definitely give us more magical experiences. something ppl can touch. feel. love.

i’ve nothing against B2B SAAS founders or companies (many of them are my clients or friends, and i’m so proud of them)

but if you can build something in consumer…

please do it.

because linkedin is always about 2 weeks behind X 😂

what if love about SF is that you're surrounded by real founders. folks fighting every goddamn day to make it work. believe me. reality is way different than socials. its intense. it hurts. its difficult. emotionally hard. but if there's one thing that i know for sure. the majority of them are all genuinely happy to be able to play the game. i'm so happy for them <3
