I've been a fan of Mercedes-Benz AG since I was a little boy. Right now I’m in a C-Class, and my wife drives the GLE for the kids. 

We absolutely love the cars, but the digital experience has to keep up with the times.

This week was a perfect example. My wife tried to turn back on our auto-start because it expired. She contacts support and gets a “sorry I can’t do it for you” and “maybe” you can't do it in the app 🧐.

Super hubby here. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐞?

1. Start on Google
2. Redirect to mbusa.com
3. Password not working, reset
4. I log in, click Vehicles “You have 0 saved vehicles" (check cars are still in the driveway)
5. Open the Mercedes-Benz App we use… no option to update “extras”
6. Ask OpenAI, please help, my kids miss me
7. Recommends me.mercedes-benz.com, once there “All extras are activated” 🤔
8. Find a redirect to shop.mbusa.com, finally able to buy it, now waiting for it to be pushed to the car.

Mercedes is a master class in engineering. That same precision has to show up in every touchpoint. The feeling I get when I drive the car should match digital… just like Apple: iPhone, Apple Store, apple.com. Seamless.
