AI can't read your mind.

But it can interview you.

And that's way more valuable.

When you dump a topic into ChatGPT and say "write me a post," you get ChatGPT's thinking.

Generic. Vague. Sounds like AI. Who'da thought?

I used to do this exact thing when I first started writing online. It's ok. Pretty sure most of us did.

Here's how to fix it:

Instead of asking AI to write FOR you, have it ask YOU questions.

Suddenly, your own thinking comes out.

Clearer. Sharper. Actually yours. Your posts will "feel" better and perform better too.

(and THEN you can use Claude to write you a first draft)

Your bottleneck isn't writing. It's the clarity of your idea.

Once you've clarified your thinking through an interview, the first draft writes itself.

(Works for LinkedIn posts, Substack notes, newsletters, whatever)

Here's the process:

Step 1: Pick any rough idea

"I want to write about how curiosity gaps work"
"How to find ideas for newsletters"

Step 3: Let AI interview YOU

Answer out loud. Or type stream-of-consciousness.

Don't filter. Just respond.

After you've done the thinking, writing is simple.

Here's how I'm getting there:

1/ Going all in on Substack

I finally started writing on Substack and I'm obsessed.

I put it off for months because it felt new and scary. But now that I'm in? I'm extremely bullish on this platform.

The distribution engine actually works.

Plus...I'm working on something exciting related to Substack growth as a service :)

More on that later.

2/ Repurposing Substack Notes everywhere

I'm taking my best Substack Notes and turning them into newsletters, LinkedIn posts, and Threads posts.

If you haven't tried Threads yet, it's Instagram's version of Twitter...just with way less ragebait and sensationalism (and it's easier to grow).

It's also writing-focused, which I love.

3/ Doubling down on email

Email is my insurance policy against algorithm changes.

Every experiment I run, every piece of content I create, I'm asking myself: how can this drive more email subscribers?

Because email lets me own the relationship. No platform can take that away.

And I want to test using email to accelerate social traffic too. Make the whole flywheel spin faster.

4/ Doubling down on outreach and social selling

Loom videos. Connection requests. DMs.

I'm making outreach a daily habit and gamifying it so it's actually enjoyable.

The key is treating it like a game, not a chore.

5/ Updating my email course

The old email course served its purpose but isn't relevant to my current offer anymore.

I use the lead magnet rule: Does this asset make the paid offer feel like the obvious next move?

If it solves a smaller problem people hit before the main one, that's a winner.

So, I'm creating a completely new course this month that shows exactly how to position, start, and grow a revenue-driving newsletter.

6/ Creating one new lead magnet per week

I'm committing to creating one new lead magnet every week.

The strategy: Take my best-performing posts and expand them with AI prompts and deeper frameworks.

If a post resonates, why not turn it into something that captures emails?

That's my 2026 playbook.

"How often should I email my list?"

That's not actually what you're asking.

What you're really asking is "How much is too much before people get annoyed and leave?"

And that's coming from a place of fear.

Here's the reframe:

If your emails deliver value, people want more of them. Not less.

Think about the newsletters you actually look forward to. The ones you open every time. Do you wish they emailed you less?

Probably not.

The problem isn't frequency. The problem is most emails are boring, generic, downright spammy, or feel like obligations to open.

So the real limit isn't your audience's tolerance.

It's your ability to consistently create valuable content.

That's a completely different constraint.

Instead of asking "How much is too much?" ask "How often can I produce something genuinely worth reading?"

If that's once a week, email once a week.

If you can do twice a week and maintain quality, do that.

If you're cranking out daily emails that are mid, scale back.

Stop worrying about annoying your subscribers.

Worry about whether what you're sending is worth their time.

"I don't know what to write about in my newsletter."

False. Yes, yes you do.

The answer is already in your analytics.

Last year I let my newsletter fall off, mostly because I thought I needed "fresh ideas" every time.

And then I'd get overwhelmed and just wouldn't write it.

Meanwhile, I had 200+ LinkedIn posts just sitting there. Already tested. Some proven to resonate.

Every post that performed well is a potential newsletter.

Plus, most email subscribers never saw those LinkedIn posts anyway.

And the ones who did? They'll appreciate the expanded version.

Here's how to turn one LinkedIn post into a newsletter that hits:

1) Find your winner

Open your analytics. Find a post from the last 30 days that performed AND has clear structure.

Framework posts and step-by-step posts (like this one) work best.

Stream-of-consciousness posts are harder to repurpose.

2) Expand each section 2-3x

Add examples, stats, or personal stories to each point.

You're not repeating the post. You're making it stick.

3) Rewrite the opening for email

LinkedIn hooks are built for the scroll.

Email hooks are built for the inbox.

LinkedIn: "Stop making this mistake."

Email: "Quick question. When's the last time you opened your analytics?"

4) Write 10 subject lines

Keep them under 44 characters.

Your subject line determines if anyone reads this thing.

One high-performing post = one newsletter.

Do this weekly and you'll never run out of content.

I used to think I needed 90 minutes at the gym or nothing counted.

Then I worked for 4 weeks straight on my paper for my PhD. Missed every workout I planned so well.
Woke up feeling like I'd failed my body.

That's when I realized:
The gym wasn't the real problem.
But my stupid all-or-nothing contract was.

If I couldn't do it perfectly, I didn't do it at all.

Rebuilding movement as a founder and mother of three I can tell you:

Your body doesn't need perfection.
It needs consistency that survives real life.

So the smartest move I could do was to replace "going to the gym or do nothing at all" with a
Minimum Viable Movement:

• 10 min walk after 1 meal
• 10 sets of anything at home
• 10 stretches while calls pile up

10 minutes a day becomes 70 minutes a week. That's more movement than skipping three 90-minute sessions because life got messy. 

Your body doesn't track perfection. 
It tracks patterns.
And loves it.

Not because it's optimal or what the guidelines tell you to do ... but because it's repeatable during all the travel, crazy deadlines in business, and late nights as a busy parent we all are.

Your health results don't come from the perfect plan. They come from what you can do when life gets messy.

Done beats perfect every time.

We left when I was 7.

My mother had an affair.
My father found out.
The police came just in time that night.

I've not gained a single kilo for over a decade (while getting 3 kids) and building a business.

A few things I've been thinking about lately.

𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞.

Not the ones selling quick fixes or transformation challenges. The ones who get it. Who understand that healing your relationship with food is sacred work. We don't need more diet groups. We need spaces where you can be honest about the struggle without someone trying to sell you something.

𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥-𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬.

Not influencers. Not before-and-after posts. The person at work who lost 30 kilos and kept it off for 5 years. Your neighbor who stopped binge eating and now cooks dinner with her kids. These people are everywhere if you look. Ask them simple questions. Their wisdom is worth more than any program.

𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐮𝐩 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐤𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐧.

This is harder than it sounds. Throw out the trigger foods. Not because they're "bad" but because early on, you need safety. You need to rebuild trust with your body. And that takes time. It's nearly impossible if your pantry is full of foods that hijack your brain chemistry. Start small with one shelf or a drawer. Then slowly add back what you can handle.

𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝.

Grow something. Even herbs on a windowsill. Compost your scraps. Notice what you waste. When you see food as living, growing, decomposing, it changes how you eat it. You slow down and you appreciate it. You stop treating it like fuel or reward and start treating it like nourishment.

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥-𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬.

Weight loss isn't about the number. on the scale. It's about learning to feel hunger without panic. Learning to stop when you're satisfied. Learning to sit with discomfort without reaching for food. These are skills. They take years to develop. But once you have them, they're yours forever.

I've made all these mistakes. And will make many more.

And it's funny because I used to think the secret about weight loss was about willpower and discipline. But now I know it's about safety, skill, and self-trust.

And that changes everything.

Digestion starts in your mouth. Poor chewing means poor nutrient absorption and blood sugar chaos. Your gut can't fix what your teeth didn't finish. So take your time, sit down and taste what you eat. 

 𝟑. 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 

Real hunger builds slowly and accepts any food. Cravings hit fast and want something specific. If you're craving sugar 30 minutes after your colorful smoothie bowl, that's not hunger but your body saying the meal spiked your blood sugar and crashed it.

These three work together:

- Sun regulates hormones
- Chewing stabilizes blood sugar
- Understanding hunger builds metabolic flexibility

Master them, you're building cellular resilience that compounds over decades.

You don't need expensive protocols.
You need consistency with biology.

My uncle was killed by his diabetes.
My grandpa died from a heart attack.
My grandma lost her battle to lung cancer.

People we love all die eventually earlier in life.

And that's not what breaks you.

What breaks you is standing at a funeral, tears running down your face, feeling hollow inside because you know it didn't have to happen this way.

Not yet and not like this.

And preventable disease doesn't announce itself.

Until one day, it's too late.

When someone dies from something preventable, they don't just leave behind memories.

So here's what I lived through and know:
Taking care of yourself isn't about living forever.

Taking responsibility for your health isn't about you.

I wanted to be a princess.

Not to stand out.
Just to belong.

I was a foreigner and a little chubby.
And carnival was coming.

The other girls already knew they'd be princesses.
They glowed with it.
Effortlessly chosen and so pretty.

I stayed quiet, hoping to fit in.

When I whispered I wanted to be a princess too, my teacher paused.

Then smiled:
"Maybe you should choose something that suits you better."

Her words planted a question I carried for years:
Do girls like me ever get to be seen as special?

That night, my mom came home from a long shift.

She gathered scraps of fabric.
Threaded a needle by dim kitchen light.
Because her daughter deserved to feel beautiful.

A simple white blouse.
Tulle with golden dots.
A borrowed plastic crown.

I didn't look like the others.
But I felt like a princess.

My mother taught me something most of us still fight for:

The invisible line between vision and visibility.

It doesn't matter how capable or brilliant you are.
There's still a fight to be seen.
To commit to who you are.

She crossed that line with a needle and love.
She showed me belief is the costume.

Now I'm a mother too.

I don't just let Hannah dress up for the next carnival.
I make sure she's living her dreams every single day.
Loving the body she owns and is proud of it.

Because it was never about the crown.
It was always about the belief behind it.

And that early lesson about bodies and belonging became my entire life's work.

Understanding why we feel safe in our own skin.
Why some of us grow up trusting our hunger.
And why others spend years trying to exist.

Your weight changed in your relationship.

Or did it?

Research on 250 couples suggests something uncomfortable: your perception of weight change is shaped by body image and relationship dynamics ...
and not just what's happening on the scale.

𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭:

People were more likely to perceive their own weight gain when they felt more dissatisfied with their body and had been together longer.

𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
Sometimes "I gained weight" is also a story about how you feel in your body and not just the body itself.

Partner weight change wasn't just about BMI.
It was linked to 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲.

Higher relationship quality meant people were less likely to perceive their partner as having gained weight.

When a relationship feels strained, the mind scans for problems. Bodies can become one of the targets.

Gender mattered too.

𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐧:
Higher BMI related to greater perceived weight change in themselves. Being more dissatisfied with their partner's body related to perceiving more partner weight change.

𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧:
Longer relationship length related to perceiving more partner weight change.

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐟 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞:

If you're trying to "fix eating" while feeling less connected in your relationship, more self-critical in your body, more stressed and emotionally depleted ...

it makes sense that food and weight start feeling like the problem.

Sometimes the real work is reducing shame, improving regulation under stress, strengthening support.

I would never promise you 30 kilos in 12 weeks.

Obesity isn't a calorie problem.

It's a metabolic communication problem.

Your metabolism isn't broken. It's just speaking a language you don't understand.

For years, I watched friends and family cut calories, create deficits, and watch the scale drop.

Then plateau.
Then regain.

The cycle repeated until they believed their bodies were the problem.

And recent research with 46 women uncovered what traditional diets miss all the time over and over:

But the metabolic story?
Completely different.

The low-GI group showed greater waist reduction, significantly lower LDL cholesterol, bigger drops in leptin dysregulation, reduced long-term glucose markers, and increased satiety hormones.

Most telling:
The calorie-restriction group's resting metabolic rate declined. The low-GI group's stayed stable.

One diet slowed metabolism. 
The other didn't.

This matters because metabolic adaptation is why diets fail long-term.

Your body fights back when you restrict energy.
It lowers output, increases hunger, makes regain inevitable.

But when you eat in a way that stabilizes blood sugar, supports hormone signaling, and preserves lean mass, your metabolism doesn't feel threatened.

It cooperates.

It was about choosing foods that slow glucose absorption, reduce insulin spikes, support satiety hormones, preserve muscle tissue, and keep metabolic rate intact.

When insulin stays chronically elevated, fat storage stays locked. When leptin signaling breaks, hunger never shuts off. When GLP-1 drops, satiety disappears.

A low-GI approach addresses these root causes.It doesn't just create a deficit but restores the conversation your metabolism needs to heal.

So your body isn't resisting you.
It's responding to the signals you're sending.
