1: You copy-paste AI content
2: You randomly request everyone
3: You only post to sell or to “announce”
4: You say “I won’t pitch you” and then pitch
5: You offer 20 coffee chats a week (please stop)

Many of the best posts were simple text posts.

Here’s how I write a text post in under 15 minutes.

1: Find a good hook 

Lead with insights, not generic value because everyone can share value nowadays

—> Use something that YOU achieved in your industry - bragging allowed


2: Break down your insight into 3-7 steps 

Make it super simple for your reader to follow.

—> Don’t force steps. Take whatever is natural.


3: Write every step in the what - why - how framework

Answering those 3 questions is enough per step to explain anything.

—> 1 sentence introduces a thing. The 2nd says why it’s important, and the 3rd shows how to replicate it.


4: Find a proper conclusion

Here’s where many slip. If you hooked with spaghetti, don’t give them pizza.

—> Fulfill the promise of your hook and tie back to it with “that’s how I …”


5: Perfect the hook

The best hooks are short, have numbers and are easy to understand.

—> Study successful hooks. How many words and which structure.


Pro tip for hooks:

The 4th line in this post is a hook alone BUT i led with proof first and showed why you should even trust me.

I sent 30 connection requests and 100 people accepted.

Yes, it is, Mrs. Wollowitz. Let me explain:

Since February 2025 I’m sending 200 connections a week.

Religiously. Every week.

Around 40% accept immediately in 24 hours because they check my profile and know I can actually help them.

Over time, more people see the request, my profile, my content.

What happens is pipeline velocity catching up.

Like an avalanche.

At first, it's just a thin layer of snow sliding. Then it picks up more snow. Then more. Before you know it, the entire mountain is moving downhill at unstoppable speed.

I have over 1,000 pending requests floating in the LinkedIn ether.

That’s why sometimes more people accept than I send in a week.

Distribution becomes your client magnet when you send 200 connections every week.

If you don't have time for content, send connections.

Recently, everyone and their grandma blames the LinkedIn algorithm.

Low reach? The algorithm.
A post flops? The algorithm.
No leads? Still the algorithm.

I can’t read it anymore.

Let me tell you with 100% certainty: the algorithm is NEVER the problem.

I generate revenue on LinkedIn no matter how the algorithm treats me because of 3 things:

1: Positioning

Do people immediately understand what you do & why you are credible?

↳  Send the right signals by optimizing your bio, banner, and about section.

2: Content

Everyone can post “valuable content” with AI. It’s dead.

↳ To show real authority you want to share insights on how YOU do things.

3: Distribution

Are the right people consistently seeing your profile & content or just your family?

↳ Max out your connection requests EVERY f*cking week.

When those three click like gears in a swiss watch, it’s hard to not generate revenue.

However, if one is off, no one will care about what you have to offer.

In other words, the real issue is never the algorithm.

You just have a misaligned LinkedIn system.

The hard part is to know what’s misaligned.

Many founders add an ‘I help’ statement to their bio and think they have ‘expert positioning’ now.
