As a Business Operations professional at GitHub, I serve as a strategic partner to Marketing leadership, driving clarity, operational efficiency, and cross-functional alignment across a dynamic, high-impact organization.

I lead the rhythm of business for the Marketing org—including quarterly planning, all-hands, business reviews, and leadership cadences—ensuring seamless execution and effective decision-making. I’ve developed scalable processes, templates, and documentation to standardize workflows for planning, reporting, and execution. I managed and mentored a high-performing team of project managers, overseeing the full merchadising lifecycle—from budget management, logistics, production, and cross-functional alignment. As Program Manager at Sezzle, I partnered directly with the CEO to build and scale People Operations programs during a period of rapid growth. I built and led a high-performing People Operations team, fostering a culture of ownership, continuous learning, and feedback. One of my key contributions was establishing Sezzle’s recruiting function from the ground up. I designed scalable hiring processes and launched strategic talent initiatives—including a university internship pipeline—that helped attract and retain top-tier talent. I also led employer branding efforts that increased visibility in the local market, contributing to Sezzle being recognized by Forbes as a top startup and earning exceptional Glassdoor reviews.

In addition, I developed comprehensive onboarding programs tailored to the fast-paced tech environment, reducing time-to-productivity and setting new hires up for success. I also created inclusive talent development programs that enhanced skills, boosted collaboration, and fostered a strong sense of belonging. As Executive Assistant at Amazon, I served as the right hand to the GM of Amazon’s first Minnesota-based tech office, while also supporting two Seattle-based VPs. I played a key role in ensuring seamless executive operations, efficient calendar management, and cross-site alignment between Minneapolis and HQ.

I led the buildout of Amazon’s new downtown Minneapolis office, partnering closely with Facilities to oversee logistics and planning for a space that would go on to be featured in several local publications. Beyond operations, I collaborated with the GM to cultivate a strong, localized office culture—one that reflected Amazon’s leadership principles while celebrating the unique identity of the Minneapolis team.

I spearheaded all employee engagement and culture-building initiatives, organizing team events, gathering feedback, and maintaining a strong pulse on morale. I also managed onboarding for new hires, ensuring they were well-equipped, connected, and empowered to contribute from day one.

Additionally, I handled internal communications for the Minnesota office, keeping teams informed and aligned with company-wide updates and priorities. I successfully managed complex executive calendars and coordinated high-profile meetings and events, driving efficiency and maximizing executive productivity.
