In 10 years, we’ll wonder where the time went.

3 things I do to make my time feel richer:

1) Pretend it's "the last time."

We rarely know when we're doing something for the last time. The last dinner at a restaurant. The last call with that person.

If we did know that, we’d probably act differently in those moments.

Maybe we’d be more present there.
Maybe we’d tell them how much they mean to us.

2) "Be where your feet are."

↳ Whenever I catch myself worrying about things in the past or future for too long, I say that out loud.
↳ Take a second. Try to feel your feet on the floor. The weight of the phone in your hand. These small, tactile reminders yank us back to now.

3) Notice micro-moments of joy.

↳ The first sip of a great coffee. An unexpected text from a friend. A deep laugh with your partner. A 15-minute walk in some crisp fall air.

↳ Train your brain to celebrate these tiny moments. 

Life isn't lived in the 2% of big milestones 
(e.g., wedding days, job promotions). 

It's lived in the 98% of tiny moments between them.

We’re all flipping our pages too quickly
trying to get to the "good" part…
5pm, the weekend, the holidays.

But by the time we get there, it's over so soon.

3 reasons why it's not worth "figuring it out" alone:

1. They Remove Your Blind Spots

A good coach sees what you can't.

You have blind spots. (We all do.) Patterns of thinking that keep you stuck in the same place, making the same mistakes.

The right coach will spot these instantly, saving you YEARS of trial and error.

2. They Shrink Your Timeline

Why spend 10 years figuring out what someone else already knows? 

A good coach collapses time. 
They've already made the mistakes you're about to make.

So they can easily point out the stepping stones to reach your goal faster.

At the start of any new project, we overestimate our discipline. 
(And we underestimate our excuses.)

A coach creates accountability for the work that actually moves the needle.

You don't need to get things perfect on your first try.
(If you do get them perfect, you’ve probably waited too long to start.)

Start now. Start messy. Start tired. Start scared.

Someone with less experience than you is living the life you want—simply because they were okay being mediocre at first.

Making someone feel heard is a superpower. 

3 tips for deep listening:

1. Ask at least two questions before giving your opinion.

2. Repeat back something they said.
↳ "I love that you mentioned [x]."

3. Put away distractions. (Laptop closed. Phone out of sight.)

We're so quick to fill silence with our own stories, advice, solutions. But the people who've made me feel most understood? They just... listened.

Not planning their response. Not checking their phone. Just present.

3 ways to build a life you don’t need to escape from:

1. Audit your energy, not your time

For one week, I tracked what gave me energy vs. what drained it.
Not what was "productive" or "important." Just energy in, energy out.

I logged everything in Notion — and Notion Agent surfaced patterns I couldn’t see, like how back-to-back calls before lunch tanked my afternoon focus.

The insights were immediate.
I didn't need to change my job.
I needed to change my calendar.

2. Identify one non-negotiable” habit

What’s the one thing that, if done daily, makes the rest of your week easier?

For me, it’s posting on LinkedIn each morning. 
Not because it’s easy — 
but because it makes everything else in my business easier.

Clients discover me. Sponsors reach out to me. DMs with interesting opportunities land in my inbox. I attract instead of chase.

But I used to post inconsistently. 
My ideas were scattered across five tools.

So I asked Notion Agent:

 “Take all my writing drafts, reading highlights, and voice notes from the past 6 months. Organize them into a single content database with tags and themes.”

It built the structure, filled it in, and gave me a repeatable system.

3. Design your ideal Tuesday

Forget the “perfect day.”
What would make a random Tuesday feel worth looking forward to?

Here’s mine:

– Deep work from 9–11am
– A phone-free walk at 2pm
– Learn something new before dinner with friends

Nothing extreme. Nothing Instagram-worthy.
I could even do this while working a full-time job at Google. 

I told Notion Agent:
 “My best work happens from 9–11am, and I like to walk from 2–2:30pm. Scan my calendar for the next month. Flag anything booked during those times, check if it’s moveable, and draft messages to reschedule.”

When your average day is good, 
weekends become a bonus instead of compensation.

Dreamers hope for better habits.
Builders design an environment that makes them inevitable.
