As CEO, I am responsible for spearheading the overall strategic direction, driving expansion initiatives, building high-performing teams, and ensuring sufficient capitalization to achieve our next milestones.

- Raised over €6 million in funding from professional investors such as Hans(wo)men Group, Calm/Storm, HTGF, and business angels from 468 Capital, Scalable Capital, Clark, Bitpanda, Finanzcheck, and many more
- Expanded operations from Austria 🇦🇹 to Germany (2022) 🇩🇪 and Poland (2023) 🇵🇱
- Scaled the company to a peak of 40 employees
- Implemented senior C-level and middle management to support a very young (but ambitious) founder team

I love turning ideas into companies - and I’m lucky to be surrounded by people who share the same passion. 

Right now, I’m fully focused on Heizma. What started as an idea in December 2023 turned into a company by March 2024. By the end of that year, we had reached €10M in sales and installed over 500 heat pumps. Bootstrapped.

Today, Heizma is Austria’s leading full-service electrification provider, offering heat pumps, solar panels, batteries, EV chargers, air conditioning, energy management, and an energy community to help our customers access the cleanest and most affordable energy possible.


I’ve been chasing ideas and turning them into businesses for as long as I can remember - from flipping goods at flea markets at age 7 to large-scale game key reselling at 15 (XX.XXX€ monthly revenue), which eventually led me to Bitcoin.

What followed were multiple business ideas during my university years, until my early touchpoints with Bitcoin led me to build Coinpanion. The idea? So simple it actually worked: Crypto for people who don’t want to follow charts - just set it, forget it, and let it ride. (hello #ETFs for crypto)

So I did what every 21-year-old entrepreneurial student does: I stopped studying (eventually finished later) and dove headfirst into the rollercoaster. We built a team of up to 40, expanded into 3 countries (Austria, Germany, and Poland), reached 25,000 customers, and raised €6M in funding.

In 2023, we were fortunate to successfully exit the company to Revix, which - together with a consortium of crypto platforms - became Altify, now serving a large number of customers across Africa and Europe.

With no break at all, things unfolded as they did, and I found myself in the next adventure: Heizma - and honestly, I love it every day. 

Occasionally, I also invest in other startups via morgen ventures, but the truth is:
I’m a founder first, investor second - and right now, it’s heads-down building time.

Over the past two days, we visited Viessmann’s global headquarters in Allendorf and spent time with CEO Thomas Heim, Nadi Ahmad, Christopher Müller and Peter Huber - the team that made this partnership possible.


2025 was incredible.

2026 is where we shift gears. Strong partners matter, and Viessmann is exactly that.

It was special to experience this moment together as a full Heizma crew - Bruno Manda, Raphael Rotter, Hans Georg Einwagner, Drago Majic, Emanuel Jöbstl (Optima integration 👀) - and of course my amazing Co-Founders Michael Kowatschew and Valentin Perkonigg.

We’re ready for a huge year ahead and to electrify 1.000+ homes in 2026.

Gemeinsam mit Alexander V. und Valentin Perkonigg – beide sind Under 30-Alumni, allerdings für ihre Leistungen als Gründer von Coinpanion bzw. Brickwise – gründete Michael Kowatschew im Frühjahr 2024 Heizma, ein Start-up, das Einfamilienhäuser mit Wärmepumpen, Photovoltaikanlagen, Batteriespeichern und Energiemanagementsystemen ausstattet. 

Kowatschew verantwortet People & Business Development und hat das Unternehmen nach eigenen Angaben innerhalb von zwei Jahren auf 50 Mitarbeitende und über 10 Mio. € Jahresumsatz skaliert. Im Dezember 2024 übernahm Heizma die Grazer Firma Meo Energy, um intelligentes Energiemanagement anzubieten. 

Für das Wachstum holten sich die drei Gründer im April 2025 ein Investment von 2,5 Millionen Euro von Investoren wie Bernhard Niesner (Busuu), Felix Porsche und Hanno Lippitsch (Eversports).

Nach intensiven Verhandlungen mit allen großen Wärmepumpen-Herstellern freuen wir uns, Viessmann als unseren Main Partner für 2026 präsentieren zu dürfen.

Gestern und vorgestern hatten wir die Freude, im globalen Headquarter nicht nur CEO Thomas Heim besser kennenzulernen, sondern vor allem Zeit mit Nadi Ahmad, Christopher Müller und Peter Huber (Geschäftsführer Österreich) zu verbringen - den Menschen, die diese Partnerschaft gemeinsam mit uns möglich gemacht haben.

2025 war unfassbar.
