As the Founder and CEO of GoChip Pet Technology, I’m on a mission to revolutionize companion animal management and safety in urban environments. My passion lies in creating innovative solutions that enhance the well-being of companion animals their guardians.

With over a decade of experience in marketing, entrepreneurship, and international relations, I bring a unique perspective and robust network to the emerging animal tech sector. My journey is fueled by a vision to launch and scale pet tech products that make a tangible difference in the lives of animals their guardians and the communities in which they live.

I hold an Oxford Blockchain Certification and have previously held leadership roles at Velas AG, and DACSEE, and was a co-founder of CanCham PRD. These experiences equipped me to build and launch GoChip, a cutting-edge platform that provides digital identities and records for animals. Our patent-pending technology not only creates the world’s first unified digital ID for animals but also allows for direct interaction with an animal’s microchip via a smartphone—an industry first.

At GoChip, we collaborate with all stakeholders in an animals life, from  veterinarians, shelters, and local governments to e-commerce platforms, insurance providers and NGOs promote animal welfare and responsible guardianship. Our goal is to reimagine the relationship between people, animals, and cities, creating a safer and more connected world for all.

Pablo Tseng is a lawyer, patent agent, and trademark agent at McMillan LLP's Vancouver office.  His practice primarily focuses on: (i) acquisition, commercialization, and enforcement of intellectual property rights; and (ii) all aspects of patent and trademark prosecution and portfolio management.

Pablo regularly assists clients with commercial and licensing agreements related to intellectual property and technological assets, and coordinating transactions involving intellectual property assets.  His clients appreciate his ability to explain complex legal issues in a manner that is easy to understand, and to deliver legal solutions that complement their business needs.

As a trademark agent, Pablo regularly advises clients on issues related to trademark registrability, prepares and prosecutes trademark applications, and handles all aspects of trademark opposition proceedings and expungement proceedings.  As a patent agent, Pablo regularly drafts and prosecutes patent applications, and also advises clients on patentability, validity, infringement, and freedom-to-operate issues.  His background in chemistry has allowed him to gain substantial experience in a variety of industries, and in particular cleantech and natural health products.

Pablo is published in the peer-reviewed scientific and legal literature, and his legal work has been referenced by the Parliament of Canada.
