As the Business and Marketing Lead at MazaoHub, I play a pivotal role in steering the company’s operational growth, brand strategy, and partnership development ensuring every initiative is both commercially sound and socially impactful.
I’m deeply involved in day-to-day business operations, ensuring that all communications internal and external are strategically aligned with our business model, brand values, and partner expectations. Whether it's investor updates, marketing content, or government engagements, I ensure consistency, clarity, and relevance across all touchpoints.
My focus spans both revenue growth and mission alignment. I lead the promotion and distribution of MazaoHub’s core solutions which all revolve around the provision of top-notch AI-powered agronomy services via our Tech and Touch Model, to agrodealers, commercial farmers, and institutional clients. I design marketing strategies that are data-driven, field-tested, and user-centered, driving uptake in over 15+ regions.
At the core of my work is a commitment to building a scalable, impact-driven business model that transforms rural agriculture through tech, data, and inclusive systems. My role blends strategic vision, operational execution, and purposeful storytelling ensuring MazaoHub is not just growing, but growing with meaning.

Her Farm Her Story

As Project Manager of Her Farm, Her Story, I led a bold initiative dedicated to restoring the dignity, rights, and economic power of women farmers in Tanzania. The foundation blends storytelling, advocacy, and field-based interventions to spotlight real women like Mama Bao whose journeys reflect both the hardship and resilience of women in agriculture.

I oversaw the full project lifecycle from concept development and community mobilization to partnership engagement, media coordination, and storytelling production. This included:

Designing and implementing field programs focused on land ownership, market access, and financial inclusion for women in rural communities

Coordinating a national multimedia campaign that humanized women farmers’ challenges and voices through digital content, short films, and community dialogues

Leading partnerships with agribusinesses, financial institutions, and grassroots networks to scale Her Farm, Her Story into more regions

Ensuring every intervention was data-informed, gender-responsive, and locally driven, with a long-term goal of policy influence

The project stands as both a platform and a movement telling the untold stories of rural women farmers, and turning those stories into systems-level change.

As the Digital Communications Manager at DigFemTanzania, I managed the organization’s online presence and led strategic communication efforts to advance its mission of empowering women in Tanzania. I developed and implemented comprehensive digital strategies to engage diverse audiences across platforms, aligning all initiatives with organizational goals. By overseeing content creation, social media campaigns, and email marketing, I successfully increased awareness and fostered strong connections with stakeholders. I also analyzed digital performance metrics to refine strategies, enhance engagement, and optimize the organization’s impact.

Working in a hybrid environment, I collaborated with local and remote teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution. I introduced and integrated digital tools and technologies to improve storytelling and advocacy for gender equality. Additionally, I engaged with partners and sponsors, ensuring that all communications reflected the organization’s values and vision. My role required creativity, adaptability, and strategic planning to deliver impactful digital campaigns and elevate DigFemTanzania’s online presence.

GGM Kili Challenge

As a Strategic Communications consultant for GGM Kili Challenge (in partnership with Manufaa Media)I Successfully coordinated media and communications for the GGM Kili Challenge—a flagship public-private fundraising initiative supporting HIV/AIDS interventions across Tanzania. Working in close collaboration with strategic communications agency Manufaa, I helped craft and deliver compelling narratives across mainstream and digital media platforms.

Together, we developed storytelling-driven content that elevated the voices of climbers, partners, and beneficiaries, highlighting the Challenge’s national impact. Our approach included message framing, press engagement, social media campaigns, and stakeholder visibility. The result: increased public awareness, strengthened stakeholder buy-in, and enhanced visibility for one of Tanzania’s most impactful fundraising movements.

Spearheaded end-to-end media engagement for the Africa Company of the Year Awards 2024, one of the most prestigious business recognition platforms celebrating excellence across Tanzania and a few East Africa's private sector. The awards spotlighted companies demonstrating innovation, industry leadership, and deep impact within local communities.

Under high expectations and a fast-paced execution timeline, I coordinated media strategy, content rollout, press relations, and real-time coverage delivering with precision and efficiency close to perfection. From managing high-level interviews and press briefings to ensuring polished narratives and national visibility, I positioned the awards as a benchmark for business excellence in the region.

This role showcased my ability to lead under pressure, craft strategic messaging, and amplify national platforms with professionalism and impact.

At the beginning of my career, I took on the role of Digital Marketing Specialist at Enterprise Management & Automation (EMA), where I was solely responsible for managing the company’s digital presence. As a one-person team, I quickly learned the importance of prioritization and delegation to ensure that all digital strategies were effectively implemented. From creating and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns to optimizing content for SEO and managing social media platforms, I wore multiple hats to achieve the company’s goals.

This role taught me how to work independently while leveraging external resources and tools to enhance efficiency. I developed a results-driven mindset, using analytics to refine strategies and maximize impact. Through this experience, I not only strengthened my technical skills in digital marketing but also gained valuable insights into team management and strategy execution, setting the foundation for my growth as a versatile marketing professional.

I’m Alexandra Ngaiza—a storyteller turned strategist, passionate about using communication as a tool for real, inclusive change.
My journey began in media, where I used my voice to spotlight injustice and advocate for voices that often go unheard. Over time, that path evolved into something deeper: a calling to bridge the gap between the marginalized communities and the systems meant to serve them.

Today, I work at the intersection of business, communication, and rural development, helping turn ideas into impact especially for those too often left behind.
I’m committed to amplifying the voices of women and girls in agriculture, building platforms where their stories influence change, through campaigns, community engagement, and field-based storytelling.

I spend much of my time on the ground: sitting with farmers, learning from mothers, and understanding what drives real progress in rural communities. These connections shape how I design solutions, drive strategies, and lead initiatives that are people-centered.
I believe that growth and empathy can go hand in hand—and that communication, when done right It has the power to bring about transformation.

Through our helpdesk platform, we provide valuable information, opportunities, and capacity-building training tailored specifically for young women entrepreneurs. We are actively involved in advocating for their interests and contributions to policy-making discussions, and we strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment.

Social & Inclusive Business Camp

The Social & Inclusive Business Camp allows each year a class of entrepreneurs to accelerate their projects on the continent, through a hybrid course including e-learning, face-to-face bootcamp, meetings with investors and support by a mentor. Surrounded by peers, experts and financial partners, this is the time to discuss social business models in Africa and thus show the way to the entrepreneurs of tomorrow.

Since 2017, the SIBC has supported more than 150 entrepreneurs with a strong societal impact in Africa in their scaling up, measuring their social performance and preparing for fundraising.

The program is funded by the French Development Agency (Development Campus) and implemented by a consortium of partners coordinated by Investisseurs & Partenaires (I&P Conseil): ScaleChanger, African Management Institute and Emerging Valley.

I am a social entrepreneur filled with passion and self-drive to change society through women empowerment and help women to embrace natural beauty by using organic cosmetics which are made up of fruits, flowers, and vegetables.

The idea came from my personal emotional experience after being diagnosed with brain scars after using harsh chemicals on my hair. This motivated me to start an organic haircare brand.

I have been in the beauty industry for ten years and received different awards such as Youngest and Top Distributor of the Year at the age of 24 In East Africa from Oriflame, a cosmetics and beauty-renowned Swedish brand.

I hold a Diploma in hair care organic formulations, Bachelor, and master’s in marketing and project management. 

In 2017, I became the best graduate entrepreneur from NEEC.
In 2018, I became a Tanzanian ‘She hero’. I participated in several panel discussions including AFCFTA in Durban, Zanzibar, and Botswana on how youth and women can benefit from intra-African free trade areas. 

I gained international exposure through remarkable business exhibitions in Italy, Germany, etc. I am a coordinator of Young Women Entrepreneur in Tanzania. an organization that supports entrepreneurial activities among young women in Tanzania.

In 2021, I won the Laureate of the Year in Tanzania by Women in Africa (WIA) and received technical grants from IMPACT HER.
In 2022 I was among the judges in recognizing the Top 50 young women entrepreneurs in Tanzania.  In 2022 I received the Youngest CEO Award in beauty and cosmetics in East Africa. I was featured as one of the Rising Women in the Citizen newspaper in 2023.
I was recognized by FFI as one of Top 50 Trailblazers in the Middle East and Africa.
