The department of Industrial Design organizes eight lectures a year and two so called Specials. Besides that, we support several initiatives like student associations.

My assignment was to design a product for Children with cancer to let them move more. I designed BLOX, a set of collared foam blocks. With BLOX, the children can transform their hospital bed for instance into a hut. This intervention stimulates the creativity of children and gives them a chance to have influence on the sterile child oncology ward.

Highlights: Presentation at the Dutch Design Week Eindhoven 2014, ‘must seen’ in the PROUD Travel Guide, publication in Trajectum, Finalist of the Student Research Conference with my published paper.
