Before I finished writing this post, I looked up Jasmin's profile to once again see what his results were.

I manually checked his every single post he published in the past 12 months.

NOT ONE got below 1000 comments.

(And not 1 was a viral lead magnet giveaway either.)

If there's a testament to his LinkedIn strategy - this is it.

Lara Acosta made $100k in 24 hours on Kleo's launch. 
But the true genius is what her co-founders did behind the scenes:

People think LinkedIn content is just about driving top-of-funnel awareness.

Or worse - building personal brands for fame's sake.

But LinkedIn content is the backbone of an industry projected to go from $0 to $80B in the next 5 years.

I'm talking about Answer Engine Optimization (AI SEO)

In June 2025 Lara partnered up with two SEO experts.

Jake Ward and Rob Hoffman co-founded an SEO agency back in 2019.

Right when they brought Lara on as the co-founder, they also launched another software Mentions.

(Helping brands get mentios on LLMs like ChatGPT)

→ Algorithm favoring value over entertainment

So when you look at what Kleo does:

→ Help people write like industry experts.

It makes perfect sense why Rob and Jake launched both at the same time.

The data on content from industry leaders (led by Lara and assisted by 1,200+ Kleo users) is likely one of the edges Mentions is going to have a few months down the line.

Here's my bet on their strategy:

→ Understand how credible people write content
→ Use the data to optimize their AEO software
→ Get better results for Mentions users

And help both people who want to monetize their PB on LinkedIn + brands who play the long-term AI search game.

If you're skeptical about the connection between AI search and LinkedIn - look up one of the biggest creators on the platform Chris Donnelly 

He launched an AI serach startup Searchable last year off of his 1.2M follower personal brand.

The competition for AEO in the next 5 years will be fierce and the winners will in some way be connected with LinkedIn.

Their content strategy has 4 pillars
Most companies are missing all 4:

1/ LinkedIn Ads

This is Episode 7 of the Viral Strategy Breakdowns.

And I've yet to see a more prolific advertiser on LinkedIn.

Here's what they cover:

A/ Employee Ads

→ Hooks leading with proof (e.g. "We generated 1,000 opportunities in four months for one of our VIP clients")

→ Education for unaware buyers (e.g. "You don't have a reply rate problem. You have a targeting problem.")

B/ Company Page Ads

→ Product updates (e.g. "Let Instantly Copilot build your next campaign")

→ New offers introduction (e.g. their DFY service)


2/ User Generated Content

This is the same play Clay and Lovable thrives on.

All three make it stupid easy for users to share their results.

With Instantly.ai it looks like:

1️⃣ Agencies use their product for outbound campaigns
2️⃣ Instantly gives them eye-catching visual analytics
3️⃣ They take a screenshot of their results in-app
4️⃣ Screenshot is their creative, results give them a great angle for their own testimonial post.

But the genius is in the details:

→ Instantly is a core tool in client delivery for agencies
→ Their customers already have audiences on LinkedIn
→ Proof posts work great for agencies (since always)
→ Easy high-quality visuals boost reach and incentivize agencies to use them in their posts.

And just like that, their brand capitalizes on viral posts. 

(Like the one by Josh Whitfield that pulled 3500 reactions, 400 comments, and 60 reposts.)


3/ Multiple Personal Brands

Four years ago, the Co-Founder/CEO Nils Schneider was Instantly's main LinkedIn content engine.

But as the company grew, he stepped down and brought other professionals with existing audiences.

Now their content split is:

Hans Dekker - Head of Education (23k followers) - outbound thought leadership

Otto Tatton - AE (23k followers) - viral giveaways for cold email & sales thought leadership

Mina Draskovic - AE (7k followers) - sales behind-the-scenes & outbound partner posts with users

Marc Gaudett - Head of Partnerships (12k followers) - behind-the-scenes of building a $100M affiliate program

4/ Partner Thought Leader Ads

The cherry on top.

Every viral UGC post is a pre-vetted ad waiting to run.

And with their certified partners having existing credibility, this is a win-win for both brands.

2/ Daily Viral Lead Magnets

Most companies post 1 lead magnet post a month.
Aggressive ones do 1 a week.
Gojiberry? 2x a day.

But posting so much is only half of the genius of their strategy.

The real reason they've gone this far is their lead magnets hijack viral trends going on in the AI world.

ClaudeCode all over your feed? Gojiberry has a lead magnet for it.

OpenClaw taking the internet by storm? Lead magnet.

Lead magnet got hundreds of comments? Two days later it's getting reposted by another person.

And so on for months.

Most of us find posts that perform better than others. 
And they're usually good signals to double down.

But the degree of intensity Romàn Czerny and his team uses for doubling down on the winners is how they're nearing $1M ARR in ten months after launch.

3/ Thought Leader Ads

Every single company that has successful organic content figures it out sooner or later.

You're all ready all over the feed – now it's time to add fuel to the fire.

Gojiberry runs two types of Thought Leader Ads:

A/ Founder content: product demos (video) & social proof

B/ UGC: boosting the lead magnets of successful customers

Both of these angles amplify Middle & Bottom of The Funnel their organic content wouldn't otherwise reach.

Gamma's approach is different than most of the other successful SaaS I've looked at.

They don't have a lot of people posting.

Or running lots of LinkedIn ads on their company page.

Yet they were still able to leverage LinkedIn to grow to $100M with only $23M in initial funding last year.

𝟭/ 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀

8 months ago Gamma ran a creator campaign with Jennifer Phan from Passionfroot.

It pulled 1.36M+ impressions in one campaign (LinkedIn + Newsletter)

A single post by Nishant Chahar went viral with 223K views.

And they went after Gamma's entire ICP.

With their tool targeting:

→ Creators
→ Founders
→ Sales Teams

They picked Nishant Chahar, Richard King, Jade Bonacolta, and Andrew Bolis - all creators with big audiences in their target niche.
 
But the genius wasn't finding influencers willing to do paid collabs.

It's that their tool is so useful LinkedIn creators could put their brand behind it.

Here's what Jennifer said:

I went through Gamma's entire LinkedIn Ad Library.

And for a company with so few people, it was amazing to see over a dozen different faces put behind ads.

Usually companies on LinkedIn default to product demos posted from the company page.

→ Boring
→ Corporate
→ Forgettable

But by putting your people out there, they all represent different angles of the brand:

James Fox (Co-Founder/CTO) → founder story + major product updates

Jon Noronha (Co-Founder/CPO) → AI in Product Development

Ravish Agrawal (Growth + AI Automation) → latest AI breakthroughs & how it relates to Gamma

Deeni Fatiha (Head of Product) → lower-level product updates, relevant to many users

Akiva Gottlieb (Marketing Lead) → how Gamma helps marketers save time in their workflows

And let's not forget about the head of their brand...


𝟯/ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗘𝗢
 
Grant Lee is the Co-Founder/CEO with a 100k+ audience.

In 2026, we're seeing more and more startups being started by influencers with big audiences.

Kleo, Searchable, Saywhat...

Why? 

In the era of commoditized software brand + distribution beats generic solutions every single time.

Sure.

His strategy is one of the best ones I've seen:

Andreas Jonsson has run Shield (a LinkedIn analytics platform) for 7 years now.

But a few months ago he did something genius.

Having proprietary data, he started TheShieldIndex - a monthly reach benchmark for LinkedIn accounts of different sizes.

Which is exactly the kind of data people who want to grow on platform want to see.

You've been hearing reach is down for at least a few years.

But no one answers the question "what should I expect?"

Well... except Andreas.

Here's his breakdown on the average LinkedIn reach in January 2026:

0–1,000 followers = 167 impressions 
1,000–5,000 followers = 469 impressions
5,000–10,000 followers = 798 impressions
10,000–25,000 followers = 1,280 impressions
25,000–50,000 followers = 2,464 impressions
50,000–100,000 followers = 5,372 impressions

What I love about it is it's the perfect lead magnet:

1/ Solves a particular problem for anyone posting on LI.
2/ Gives unique 1st-party data (50k posts analyzed/mo.)
3/ It's repeatable MoM with the same impact (where is the algo at this month?)

So what can the rest of us take away from this? 

If you collect unique data your customers would die to know, this is almost a bulletproof strategy to stay relevant on the platform.

The classic founder story on LinkedIn starts in a garage. 
Mine started in a windowless room in a country I couldn't even speak the language of:

August 2024, Dublin, Ireland 🇮🇪

At that time I was doing Revenue Operations for an AI startup (they've just raised $37M Series B)

But something key was missing...

I kept hearing this voice in my head saying:

"Ops is not the path you want to follow. Go into Marketing 🙏"

So I packed up a suitcase and booked a one way ticket to Barcelona, Spain 🇪🇸

The thinking was simple:

↳ Even if I struggle to make ends meet in the first months at least I won't freeze to death 🥶

I had to be careful with the runway though.

So I split my rent budget into two:

↳ Half goes into the cheapest room I can possibly find (the €400 one w/o windows you see in this post)

↳ The other half goes into the most expensive co-working space I can find (I just knew the opportunity would be there)

But I wasn't going to wait for anyone to give me a shot.

I was going to create one for myself.

So I decided to start freelancing in cold email, where I had some initial knowledge & network.

Then in November I handed in my notice.

But the crazy part is what happened right after:

↳ Last day at the old company, 5pm, closed my laptop.
↳ Went to check in to a new coworking space at 6pm.
↳ Got pitched to run Partnerships Marketing at 7pm.

By no one else than Michael Bogner.

He was closing the first 8-figure year for Perspective and was looking to expand internationally.

One thing I immediately saw was just how good their marketing was. Across every dimension.

↳ Their branding
↳ Their visual design
↳ Their ad sets on Meta
↳ And their LinkedIn personal brands

I knew right away this was the shot I was looking for.

Most founders don't have time to write content.
But they do have 60 minutes a month to sit down for an interview.
 
Back at Perspective I've published close to 20 podcast episodes on YouTube with over 15,000 views combined. 

Today I'm using the exact skills from podcasting to pull the most unique ideas out of founders' minds.
 
Last month we generated 146,000 impressions and 200+ ICP leads for one of my ghostwriting clients. Month one.
 
When a new client comes in, here's the exact process I run.
 

𝟭/ 𝗢𝗻𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴.
 
↳ We collect all the initial assets. 
↳ Tone of voice, positioning, target audience.
↳ The goal is to describe how they sound in a way that feels authentic to them, not just close enough.
 
 
𝟮/ 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀.
 
This is where most people get ghostwriting wrong. 

They think it means a writer just writes posts on your behalf and you hope it sounds like you.
 
That's not what I do. 

I don't write anything you haven't thought of.
 
Here's what actually happens on a 60-minute call. 

↳ I ask hard questions.

I've been posting consistently for the past 90 days.
One of the posts I put out got me 2 clients.

𝟭/ 𝟵𝟵% 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗴𝗼 𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗱 (𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗼𝗸)

It didn't matter nearly all of my content flopped.

I mean a literal pile of posts with 200 impressions.

BUT one of them got me a call with a founder that I helped generate 146k impressions and 200+ ICP leads.

+ they referred another paying client.

So who cares?


𝟮/ 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲)

Impressions simply tell you how far the algorithm pushes your posts.

There are two steps to it:

A/ First few hours → your content needs to get engagement from your 1st connections

B/ Up to a few weeks after → how many saves, sends, and comments your post gets

In the first month of posting, I was obsessing over the perfect visual format.

But the recent LinkedIn Brew360 algorithm flattened the curve.

Carousels are no longer the cheat code, videos don't work as well as a year ago.

In these 3 months, I started a content series breaking down LinkedIn strategy of successful SaaS companies.

7 (out of 76) posts drove 29% of my reach.

Secret? The people I tagged wildly engaged with the content.

Lots of users saved the posts → Algo pushed the posts for weeks → reach & followers stacked.

You don't need every post to work. 
You need the right one to land with the right person.

This handsome Englishman just released the one of the biggest algorithm reports on LinkedIn.
(And no, it's not Henry Cavill)

Chris Donnelly has one of the largest audiences on LinkedIn (1.2M Followers)

He has just analyzed 329,504 LinkedIn posts in his Q4 Report.
 
And the data proves most of what people think about LinkedIn is wrong:
 
𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟭𝟬 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀:
 

1/ External links don't kill your reach. 
 
Posts with 1-3 links got 43% more reach. 
Posts with more than 3 links got 210% more reach.

Turns out link-heavy posts tend to be resource-rich posts, and people actually engage with those.

2/ Short posts are underperforming.
 
Posts between 1,250 and 3,000 characters performed 31% better than short ones. 

And posts with 14+ short paragraphs crushed posts with fewer than 7 by 71%. 
 
Write longer.

But.

Break it up.

3/ Carousels are (still) the highest-reach format.
 
They get 4.1x more reach than text-only posts. 

Infographics came in second at 3.4x, and they go viral more often than any other format. 

If you're still only posting text, you're leaving tons of reach on the table.

4/ Questions at the end don't boost engagement.
 
Everyone started doing it back in 2023. 

"What's your biggest career mistake?" became the LinkedIn equivalent of "smash that like button..." 

People are tired of fake conversation starters.
 
Provocative statements now outperform generic closing questions.

5/ Weekend posts get more reach than weekday posts.
 
Sunday pulled the highest median impressions. 
Saturday came in second. 

When you think about it – less competition from corporate content, fewer ads, and people actually have time to read.

6/ Horizontal video outperforms vertical by 36%.

I still remember the craze in Q1 2025...

But vertical video could never work for LinkedIn.

Watching a vertical video at your desk is basically announcing you're on TikTok. 

Horizontal lets people read text hooks on the thumbnail and watch without looking like they're slacking.
 
Pick the format that matches how your audience actually consumes.

7/ Complicated words tank your reach.
 
Posts where the average word length exceeded 5 letters performed 39% worse. 

LinkedIn rewards conversational writing, not corporate jargon. 

If your post reads like a press release, it's going to perform like one.
 
Write like you talk. 🤝

8/ Posts with emojis performed 220% better than posts without.
 
LinkedIn text is all black and white. 

Emojis add color, break up the wall, and draw the eye to key points. 

👉 The caveat: avoid the ones AI models overuse, and don't overdo it.
 
Use them sparingly in calls to action and section breaks.

The demand for Personal Branding and LinkedIn Content has skyrocketed since August 2025. But most founders will fumble this market shift...
 
We need to confront the truth:

People don't magically have more time to THINK about. 

But they POST more of it than ever.
 
Just have a look at Google Trends. "Personal brand" and "LinkedIn content" both surged last summer and haven't come back down. More founders than ever want to show up on the platform. 

But the attention pool hasn't grown with them. 

LinkedIn isn't gaining users or dwell time at the same rate people are flooding it with posts. 

It's the same eyeballs for waaay more content.
 
So what does most of that new content look like?
 
You already know it. You scroll past it every morning. 

1/ Em dashes everywhere. 
2/ "Here's the brutal truth." 
3/ Listicles that say nothing. 
4/ "It's not about X, it's about Y" on repeat. 
5/ Entire paragraphs that read like someone typed:

"write me a LinkedIn post about leadership".

Phew...
 
The feed is getting noisier and the quality is going down.
 
And the worst part is that most of the founders posting this stuff aren't lazy. 

They're busy. 

They know LinkedIn matters, they just don't have 10 hours a week to get good at it. 

So they lean on ChatGPT, cram something together between meetings, and put out content that blends in with everything else.
 
Which means the bar is going up as fast as the demand. 

The founders who figure out how to post consistently, sound like a real human, AND position themselves on the platform are going to stand out more than ever.
 
Everyone else is just making it easier for them.

To all my LinkedIn friends asking if Claude just killed manual content... No, Opus 4.6 DIDN'T CHANGE a thing:

Each new LLM update does exactly nothing for 99% of businesses posting on LinkedIn.

And it's not because LLMs cannot write good posts.

Now they actually can.

But no matter how good any model gets, your posts will fail to get business results unless you have a rock-solid 3-step Content Strategy:


𝟭/ 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 (𝟯𝟬% 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀)

No matter how much content is on the platform, LinkedIn is expertise-first social media:

Not a TikTok for funny cat videos.
Or an Instagram for lifestyle thirst-traps.
And definitely not an X for random political commentary.

This is a B2B platform for experts to share value with people focused on growing their careers and businesses.

At the core users want you to show:

→ Your takes on industry trends (+ the experience you have to back it up)

→ Common misconceptions customers have before working with you (and why it holds them back)

→ Your contrarian beliefs around how things should be done (the more polarizing - the better)

This is crucial for how others perceive the rest of your content.


𝟮/ 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 (𝟲𝟬% 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀)

Actionable value is how you turn your existing processes into trust-building assets.

Write them as guides your audience can use that same day.

It can be a simple list of:

→ Tips
→ Ideas
→ Steps
→ Tricks
→ Beliefs
→ Lessons
→ Mistakes
→ Examples
→ Resources
→ Frameworks
→ Breakdowns

As long as you're an expert in it, you'll deepen the trust with your audience.


𝟯/ 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 (𝟭𝟬% 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀)

There's a reason personal brands are called what they're called.

And it's not just you writing posts under your own name.

We don't buy from names. We buy from people.

Nothing shows your audience who you are like an occasional glimpse into your life.

Four formats that work best for personal stories on LinkedIn:

→ Personal milestones (yes, the algo loves these)
→ Behind-the-scenes posts ("we're working on X")
→ Hero story ("I got to X. But I didn't expect it'd take Y")
→ Before & after comparisons ("me 10y ago vs me now")

Tip: Whichever format you use, keep it professional.

(No use for "funny content" to attract leads.)


𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻...

Should AI help with any of these?

Absolutely.

But the difference between help and execute is miles apart.

Use your own brain to outline your content strategy.
Come up with ideas based on your own expertise.
Design the split to show your unique value.

And use the help of Claude or Chat GPT to help with making it into a digestible format.

I think I found a way to make LinkedIn less cringe.
But you'd never believe me the answer is... Reddit.
Let me explain:

I said to a few people this week that LinkedIn is the last true social media platform.

Your results fully depend on how your immediate network interacts with your posts.

(Not the case on Instagram, YouTube, or X)

But people here write like it's flashy value contest.

So your feed ends up full of:

→ Generic career advice or AI-generated frameworks.
→ What my dog's divorce taught me about B2B Sales.
→ And the root of all evil - engagement pods.

And look, I don't blame the creators. 

The algorithm favors their posts.

But it makes the experience on the platform feel manufactured and artificial.

Not because these posts don't provide value (they do).

They're just so disconnected from how humans interact.


𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱𝗜𝗻'𝘀 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰

LinkedIn is like a huge networking event turned social media.

Everyone is here with a professional mindset to:

→ Advance their careers
→ Grow their business
→ Or upskill

But if the posts they see are here for algorithm farming, how can they build lasting business relationships?

However.

There's also a different side of LinkedIn I started to notice last week.

Audiences built around true engagement with content.

I mean genuine discussions happening between members in posts.

The post is the trigger.
The comment section are the threads.
Different people interacting with each other.

This is what I mean when I say Reddit is the answer.

Members interact with each other because of what they want to add to the discussion.

And love it or hate it, you can't say the orange android platform isn't genuine.


𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁

If you're on LinkedIn because you sell a product or services, you want to optimize for trust with your ICP.

I've analyzed my top performing posts in the last 90 days:

~50% of my views and almost all of my engagement came from ~15% of posts sparking discussions.

→ Viral Strategy Breakdowns (giving due credit)
→ Unobvious takes from industry leaders

And I saw the power of these interactions shift the whole dynamic.

If you're still in doubt, here's an important question:

Will your audience be attracted to your funny takes?
Or your artificial lessons from random life events?

Wouldn't bet my money on that.

You're likely to only attract AI comments with this kind of approach.

But when you double down on giving back to the community, you start to create a true voice in your space.

Because of the discussions your posts now spark.

10 Lessons from writing LinkedIn content for SaaS Executives this week:


1/ Your follower count doesn't matter. LinkedIn now uses AI to look at your posts and decide if it's worth serving it to your target audience. 

2/ Visual don't impact reach as much as they used to. Carousels no longer win. (Backed by TheShieldIndex and Will McTighe's findings)

3/ Metrics worth looking at: saves, sends, engagement rate % (comments/impressions).

4/ Profile optimization is table stakes. If your content isn't landing with your ICP, it's likely: headline, about section, and banner mismatch.

5/ Engagement baits/going off-topic gets you impressions in the moment. But it hurts your reach long-term.

6/ Lead magnet giveaways are not only not dead, they're by far the most valuable type of posts on the platform.

7/ The most successful founders are committed to posting for at least 6mo. 

8/ Hooks are the most important part of the post. David Ogilvy said your headline is 80% of your ad copy. The same applies to LinkedIn posts. 

9/ 80% of my engagement is now coming from strategy breakdown posts of other SaaS companies. People love to see success stories told by outsiders.

10/ One of the biggest underserved markets on LinkedIn right now are executives with 20+ years of experience who are catching up to the attention economy.

There are 8 types of SaaS Founders on LinkedIn:

No. 1 – The Lurker

You know them. 

It's the one building behind the scenes, and randomly dropping a comment every 3 weeks.

Lurkers either think posting on LinkedIn is cringe, don't have the time to do it, or still think the platform is the virtual CV database it used to be 10 years ago.

No. 2 – The AI Outsourcer

Yes, you guessed it. It's not human content—it's AI 🥶

In all seriousness, these founders know there's value in posting on LinkedIn.

But oftentimes can't fit writing content into their packed calendar.

So they give Claude a shot at sharing opinions on their behalf.

No. 3 – The Long Paragrapher

Have you ever come across a founder posting this overly long piece of content that stitches together multiple paragraphs of text into one ginormous editorial block of doom?

Yes.

White spaces make a difference.

Though Long Paragraphers usually have one of the best insights to share, they get no reach on their posts.

And end up with the worst ROI on their time out of all 8 types.

No. 4 – The Fun Poster

We all love humor.

And even on this rather dull platform, fun content gets a pretty high level of engagement.

But these founders play a tough game.

Entertaining the audience brings eyeballs but it doesn't build trust in how their product can help their audience.

No. 5 – The Company Updater

Quiet most of the year. Then posts a Series A, new office, or an ARR benchmark update.

This type treats LinkedIn like a NYT column.

Depending on the milestone they share, their posts might bring in lots of leads short term.

But they're leaving a lot on the table.

No. 6 – The Niche Leader

If you want niche industry insights or actionable advice - this is your guy.

Niche Leaders write for their buyers, engage in DMs, and make sales with a 3k following.

Unless you're their target buyer, LinkedIn will never show their content to you.

So they cash in without unnecessary fame.

No. 7 – The Lead Magnet Lover

You saw this one. Probably even today.

They're all over the feed sharing another framework for how Claude Code just killed manual [insert category].

And in truth, they make bank. Not with the posts, but with the newsletter their audience automatically joins.

LinkedIn is just a traffic source in their funnel.

No. 8 – The B2B Influencer

The big fish on this platform.

Years of consistent posting, tens of thousands of followers, and every post seems to hit.

But the truth is, it usually took a long time for them to get there.

They just kept looking for new ways to give value to their audience.

And often invested in or built the SaaS for their distribution.

Today's observation: there's a market gap on LinkedIn for info product businesses targeting early-stage buyers. 

Corporate employees are doomscrolling the platform on a daily basis while thinking of starting their own businesses.

They follow recent AI trends.
They know their job is no longer safe.

But still there isn't enough content targeting them directly.

The info space on YT? Crowded.
IG? Even more.
TikTok? Lowest-intent buyers hang around the platform.

But here on LinkedIn STILL ONLY 1% of members post.

LinkedIn has one of the best algorithms for reaching niche buyers with your content.

And it's the only platform where you can get OUTBOUND FOLLOWERS.

But so far only people selling LinkedIn growth/writing products have come to this conclusion.

For anyone who's teaching people how to go freelance in any niche:
- coaching
- prof. services
- local in-person services

This is a blue ocean.

And a bonus – if you ever need to hire people for your business – your brand here will make this 10x easier.

Is someone in the info space coming after this?

So it's official?
Company built around cheating job interviews admits to cheating its audience...

Look, this confession goes beyond just Cluely doing a backflip PR stunt.

It's a perfect example of how marketing on every single platform degenerates.

You might have heard of Eugene Schwartz's 5 stages of market awareness:

1/ Audience unaware
2/ Audience problem aware
3/ Audience solution aware
4/ Audience product aware
5/ Audience most aware

The core idea is this: as the market matures, the claims have to get louder.
 
Unaware → you just need to name the problem. 
Problem aware → you name the solution.
Solution aware → you name your product. 

And when everyone knows your product...you have nowhere left to go but to show off.
 
That's where this backflip happened.
 
The audience is so saturated, so cynical, so numb, that proof shilling becomes the only differentiator left.

This is exactly why now you see people saying things like: "I've generated $1B in client revenue in 47 days."

Or Cluely faking it's 7M ARR...publicly.
 
There will be bad actors in the game.

And unfortunately they destroy the reputation of everything that connects with them in some way:

→ LinkedIn marketing got a hit
→ The SaaS category got a hit
→ Proof-sharing too

All because we are drawn to who is the loudest...

Not who is acting in good faith.

So I'll leave you with one parting thought:

If you're in the game of business because you genuinely want to help your audience and make the world a better place...

Keep your blinders on.

The game is about who you get to become along the way, not how much validation you get from a social media platform.
