Questo è esattamente il motivo per cui automatizzare tutto con l'#AI non funziona.

Ogni giorno vedo aziende buttare via tempo e soldi in questo modo, spesso spinte da “consulenti” (*consulenti = persone con 1-2 anni di esperienza che smanettano con Clay, Instantly.ai e n8n e che di colpo si sentono guru delle vendite).

La verità però è un’altra: nell’#outbound non esistono scorciatoie.

Servono:
◼️ i tool giusti
◼️ l’AI che ti aiuta a trovare gli insight, essere rilevante, scalabile
◼️ ma poi… 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗶 𝗳𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲. Parlare con le persone. Capire i contesti. Creare relazioni.

O altrimenti vi ritroverete anche voi a proporre un progetto di automazione AI del reparto sales a Crono 🤣

💡 Perché hai deciso di fondare una #startup?

Senza ipocrisia, sono abbastanza convinto che il 90 / 95% dei Founder lo faccia per i soldi, per avere la possibilità di "diventare ricco" velocemente.

Ricordo però, quando Cristobal Alonso ci fece questa domanda e ci disse che "i soldi" non poteva essere la risposta, perché esistono modi più veloci e sicuri per arrivare a questo obiettivo (e se penso anche solo alla mia storia, negli ultimi 12 mesi ho ricevuto 2 proposte lavorative >100k di RAL, quindi sì, aveva ragione).

Nel mio caso, il motivo per cui abbiamo fondato Crono era duplice: 

▪️ creare una piattaforma usata da migliaia di persone ogni giorno, che rendesse effettivamente migliore il modo in cui lavoravano.
▪️ creare un ambiente di lavoro in cui i migliori talenti europei potessero collaborare insieme su un progetto con ambizioni globali.

Forse non vinceremo il premio come #startup dell’anno, probabilmente non chiuderemo il round seed più grande d’Europa, ma sono dannatamente orgoglioso che, nonostante tutto, stiamo portando avanti la nostra visione.

A volte basta un pranzo “senza telefoni” per ricordarci quanto siamo fortunati e quanto siamo orgogliosi di tutto quello che abbiamo costruito insieme negli ultimi due anni.

Non perché sia facile.
Non perché sia la strada più veloce.
Ma perché è la nostra.

L'elenco delle persone da ringraziare diventa (per fortuna) sempre più lungo e difficilmente gestibile qui su LinkedIn. Mi limiterò quindi a un enorme, gigantesco: grazie Crono!

🔮 My 3 predictions for #B2B #Sales in 2026:

𝟭) 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗺-𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗯𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴.
ESP providers will introduce much stricter domain checks.
If there isn’t a real website behind your domain → your email goes straight to spam.

If you’re still in the “send 10,000 emails and celebrate 3 opportunities” crowd... you might want to start updating your CV.

𝟮) 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.
After years of companies hiring inexperienced people and throwing them into the field hoping that “AI + automation” would magically fix everything... the backlash is coming.

2026 will bring a massive focus on using tools properly, understanding channels, writing relevant messaging, knowing how to guide AI instead of praying to it.

It will be a paradise for skilled SDRs / AEs, and the end of the road for the professional improvisers.

𝟯) 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗽𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 “𝗔𝗜-𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱” 𝗳𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘆.
2026 will expose a painful truth: AI can accelerate a great process, but it can’t replace a bad one. Teams that tried to automate everything will spend the year rebuilding from scratch: cleaner data, clearer ICPs, human-led strategy, AI-led execution.

The winners will be the ones who finally understand the formula:
AI ≠ a replacement for Sales.
AI = a force multiplier for competent Sales.

The real power is still the human wearing it.

💰 Qui su LinkedIn ci sono davvero tantissimi creator che parlano di #vendite. Il problema? Molti di loro condividono consigli talmente fuori dalla realtà che rischiano di fare più danni che altro con contenuti costruiti su “numeri inventati”, solo per un like o un follower in più.

Ovviamente ognuno è libero di scegliersi il feed che preferisce, ma se lavorate nel campo delle vendite #B2B in Italia, vi consiglio di seguire subito Andrea Romiti e il suo progetto 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀.

📊 Sales teams lose 𝟳𝟮% of their time to non-revenue tasks.
And it’s not me saying this, it’s Gartner, McKinsey & Company, and Salesforce in their reports.

Automating 100% of the workflow is stupid (AI-SDR failures proved that).
But #AI + #Automation ARE the future of #outbound, they just need to be used better.

❌ The real mistake most teams make?

They don’t think about 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.
They pick a “simple” tool with “simple” logic… and then act surprised when it completely collapses as they grow.

Today even #SMBs and #startups operate with a level of complexity that demands tools that can:

▪️ Integrate deeply into the entire stack (CRM, email, VoIP, enrichment, etc.)
▪️ Adapt to highly customized processes across industries and ICPs
▪️ Scale without breaking

In a market this competitive, “simple” stops being an advantage, it becomes a limitation.

🔥 What happened in my DMs over the weekend after last week’s posts hit 𝟮𝟱𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀.

I’m not exactly sure what happened, but suddenly my posts from last week started going viral. Maybe it’s a bug in the new LinkedIn algorithm, maybe companies are finally realizing that automating everything with #AI makes zero sense / creates zero value.

📬 After a few hundred connection requests and dozens of DMs from all over Europe, I’m writing this here for everyone: 𝗬𝗘𝗦, at Crono we are absolutely open (and happy!) to explore new 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 and 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀.

We currently have an active 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (link in the first comment) where we give 𝟮𝟬% of the generated revenue as a 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 recurring commission.

💰 We also designed, together with Reditus (thanks Joran Hofman!), a 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 for our customers. It’s going live next week and it will give $𝟮𝟱𝟬 for every new client they bring in (any plan, unlimited volume).

We’re also open to official “#integrations”. We already have a few in development and we’ll be evaluating another 2-3 between now and the end of Q1 (on that note: January 22nd in Milan - Crono x Aircall - save the date)

☎️ And since many of you asked: I don’t do consulting (#Crono currently eats 10 - 12 hours of my day), but we have an incredible network of experts I can connect you with.

I still don’t know if this boost was because of or thanks to a LinkedIn bug, but last week proved one thing: people still want to collaborate with people, not with #automations. And honestly, I love that! ❤️

𝗦𝗮𝗮𝗦 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺.

Most Tier-1 deals we closed this year didn’t start with a #demo.

They started way earlier:
▪️ Buyers checked us on G2
▪️ They asked our customers
▪️ They queried #LLMs about Crono
▪️ They formed an opinion before talking to Sales

Even when we reached out first.

⚽ Sales is the striker.
But the goal is built long 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 the shot.

That’s why I’m proud to have a “world-class midfielder” like Lorenzo Greco on the team. He built a rock-solid CS team, controls the tempo, connects the lines and turns promises into reality.

🏆 That’s how we win games.

My advice to anyone working in #SaaS:
👉 obsess over Sales + Marketing + CS as one system
👉 perception is built before the first call
👉 execution after the signature matters as much as the pitch
