Managed a multi-tasking team that liaised with three levels of government, academia, and media outlets to align global priorities and promote business opportunities in Toronto. 
• Partnered with stakeholders and solicited nearly half-million pieces of PPE through 20+ batches of donations to Ontario.
• Led multiple delegations to travel abroad and advance public relations and business interests. Involved in ministerial-level meetings for 10+ Ontario ministries.

Developed the negotiation strategy to result in a bilateral agreement. Launched marketing programs for large events such as “Canada Blooms, Taipei Garden” attracting thousands of attendees. Secured major grants for post-secondary education in Ontario.
·Negotiated a reciprocal driver’s license agreement between Taiwan and Ontario which led to the conclusion of the agreement and benefited thousands of students and residents in Ontario.
·Influenced the policy decision resulting in the Canadian Visa Waiver program boosting two-way tourism and ease of doing business. 
·Sponsored 20+ cultural events and worked with Toronto-based media outlets for marketing and press events.

Intercultural Coach and Founder

Big news for the new year.

I am heading to TEDxQueensU.

I am honoured to share a talk at TEDxQueens University in Kingston on January 24. 

The theme is “Orchestrate,” and I will be telling a story from my years in Japan that changed how I listen and highlights who we overlook due to our own cultural assumptions.

Once I saw that filter, everything shifted. I realized how many talented people are misread, not because they lack ability, but because the lens on them is too narrow.

Looking forward to collaborating with Rebecca Lucyshyn, Sidharth Sudheesh, and the rest of the TEDxQueensU team.

Practical tip: In your next meeting, notice who you mentally label as “quiet” or “checked out” and ask one genuine, open question to bring their perspective into the room.
