Started my own company before high school to pay for my own education. Sold lipstick and my tech skills. Decided to do a master in computer science because make-up was a low margin business

Went on to create first mobile products with millions of users for Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg, Pearson. Some of them went to be keynoted on stage by Steve Jobs 

The past few years have got me back to entrepreneurship and it fits me like a glove. I founded Chili Piper - the demand conversion platform that doubles inbound conversion rates for cool companies like Spotify, Airbnb, Snapchat, Shopify and thousands others. Recently gone through a financial transaction that got us close to a billion dollar valuation

Role: Figure out the future and help make it happen.

Currently responsible for research and development of a new product for the B2B market, primarily focusing at agriculture. Researching the user experience using ethnography and developing proof of concept and first-implementation of a product for field trials. Developing advanced AI imaging processing techniques for automated data acquisition for productivity optimisation. Developing business models, and sales and support structures, for the roll-out of a global solution.

This role is a continuation of my work in CiSRA which sadly closed in 2019.

CiSRA was Canon's R&D centre in Australia but closed in 2019. I worked on a number of different projects ranging from digital marketing through to CNN-based image processing. Key accomplishments included:
* Developing a image collection 'understanding' system for selecting the best photos of a user for sharing and printing
* Optimising digital messaging for Canon Australia through date-driven market segmentation.
* Developing new product propositions for Canon in B2B markets including mining, agriculture and economic infrastructure.
* Developing a new product in agriculture for assisting farmings in optimal decision making.

I'm a trouble maker. I'm a stupid-zombie-killer. I don't like the processes that stop companies from being good. I try to let everyone be free to succeed, or to fail gracefully (and predictably). Let a 1000s flowers bloom, but let the pruner be unmerciful.

I was in charge of technology in a division of Reuters called Reuterspace. This division was charged with extending Reuters business outside of the core financial markets and wholesale media position into corporate and consumer marketplaces.

Based in London, United Kingdom, I lead all aspects of XML development and adoption in Reuters, and worked with a number of international standards organisations, including FpML, NewsML and XBRL.

* Communication, networking and negotiation: Strong ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal settings and extensive presentation experience. Comfortable in both sides of negotiations from vendor selection and contracting through to customer acquisition, onboarding and closure.
