As a parent of a school-age child, this piece by Tianqiao Chen 陈天桥 deeply resonates with me.

We're at an inflection point where traditional education—designed to produce "perfect executors"—is becoming obsolete. AI can execute flawlessly. What it cannot do is make soulful choices and shoulder real consequences.

The future belongs to those who cultivate "cognitive sovereignty": the ability to choose what matters, question deeply, embrace productive mistakes, and bear the weight of their decisions.

Our role as parents isn't to shield our children from all risks, but to help them develop these "incomputable" qualities that no algorithm can replicate.
