As a principal engineer in the Enterprise Web Services group at Sun Microsystems, I led a joint team of EWS engineers and SunLabs researchers to envision, design and implement a new and innovative software called SALSA (Sun Appliance for Live Software Analysis). SALSA is a software platform that uses a unique pattern detection technology to enable architects and developers to extract and comprehend software design, visualize software architecture and to implement design management and governance. This innovation received 7 patents for several inventions.

As a recognized industry expert and technical leader, I was responsible for design, development and delivery several software products/projects for Sun’s marquee customers for architecture, design and development of complex enterprise applications in various verticals. Clients include eBay, Ford, RouteOne, Toyota, ABB, McKesson, Stanford University, Bank of America, California ISO and others.

As the lead engineer I was involved for design and development of Sun Service's most mission-critical application (client and middleware) for Case/Call Management for 24X7 Worldwide Customer Service Centers.  I was also the lead for design and development of EDI solutions to integrate Sun with 3rd party service provides using innovative solutions with emerging Internet technologies. This led to significant cost savings and improved turnaround time to respond to customer cases. The innovations resulted in 4 patents.
