Hi, I’m Amarinder.

I help organizations move beyond AI hype and into execution—by building AI-native systems that deliver real business value.

As Chief Product Officer at Axonal AI, I lead the design of LLM-powered products and agent workflows that are transforming life sciences marketing. My focus is on integrating foundational models into enterprise environments—not as a feature, but as a shift in how work gets done and how jobs-to-be-done are reimagined.

I’m also the founder of Innowaring Labs, a consultancy that helps enterprise tech organizations and startups evolve their operating models for innovation—by aligning strategy, product, and systems thinking.

Earlier in my career, I helped build and scale ConvergeHEALTH by Deloitte into a $250M+ ARR software products and services business. That journey—from IT delivery to product-centric teams—taught me what it really takes to lead innovation inside a large enterprise environment.

I captured many of those lessons in my book, Becoming a Software Company—a guide for enterprise leaders navigating the shift to product thinking.

Today, my work lives at the intersection of AI, health tech, systems innovation, and digital transformation. I thrive when working with teams serious about building software systems that transform how industry-focused workflows.

SimulationIQ(CaseMaster) was the first SaaS product which was developed jointly with Drexel College of Medicine. It was an exciting experience to develop the "why" and then take it through the whole process of product market fit, alpha customers and then ramping up sales and support. 

Scaled up a 12 member core team for new product development. The first solution launched was a SaaS platform for cognitive skill assessment to improve clinical decision skills of Emergency Room teams.

Launched new channels in SE Asia, Saudi Arabia and Australia, increasing new orders by 15% in Year 1 beating targets by 50%

Siemens Healthcare, Malvern 19355, USA

In July 2000 Siemens announced the multi billion dollar acquisition of Shared Medical Systems Corp, in Malvern, PA. This kick started the foray of Siemens Healthcare into Healthcare IT. In 2015 Siemens exited this business by selling it to Cerner Corp. I had various responsibilities which included Strategy, Global Marketing and Communications, Upstream and Downstream Marketing, Global Business Development including overseeing M&A. 

As a part of integration and alignment with the global mother ship of Siemens Healthcare, I oversaw a CRM integration project consisting of external consultants and internal subject matter experts. Area of focus was developing clear roles and responsibility matrix for various job functions. Developing best practices for Customer Relationship Management(CRM) which involved processes for product management, beta management, go to market, marketing and sales and the developing the pricebook for country organizations.

Oversaw a p&l of $120M, 6 senior level direct reports and 120 marketing and communication professionals globally

Marketing and Growth Leader - Collaborated with senior sales and marketing leaders to drive $100M Soarian new business by developing a targeted messaging for various different customer segments
Operations - Implemented CRM standardization globally that improved funnel conversion by 20% by improving lead qualifications

Grew footprint in three key Strategic Accounts by implementing Schalke charts to identify key decision makers, installed base, buying cycles and influencers while developing CXO relationships
Supported National Accounts with product collaboration, speaker engagements, training and webinars

While overseeing Strategy and M&A engagements, executed multi million divestures of two businesses. Acquired a market leader HIT company in Germany to grow international footprint and successfully executed an exclusive reseller partnership with a leading Ambulatory HIT company to address existing portfolio gap

The founder of Wipro, Mr Azim Premji had a vision of creating a new healthcare business which goes beyond IT outsourcing. He envisioned a global delivery model for higher value clinical services. Besides the Vice Chairman of Wipro and former CEO of Wipro GE, I was the second employee to this new venture!
 
Developed a 3 year strategic business plan for development of Wipro HealthSciences.
Lead the acquisition of GE Medical Systems Healthcare IT BU in Hydrabad, India. After integration, was given additional responsibly as COO and P&L Leader for a team of 350 professionals across product engineering, services ,support and sales 
Developed and launched the first clinical services global delivery hub with Partners Healthcare and the first client for CT Image reading and 3D image processing services
Sold the first pilot for claims processing with United Healthcare
Exceeded cumulative 3 year sales targets of $25M with ROS of 33%

Chief Operating Officer - Global Healthcare IT

After being identified as a top talent and winning the outstanding achievement award at the business management program at IIM Bangalore, I was interviewed and selected by the Siemens AG corporate development organization. This group supports the managing board of Siemens AG. Its charter is to review, develop and operationalize country specific strategies. Along with the country management, we worked in small cross functional teams to understand market trends, competitive scenario, strengths and weakness, internal operations and develop a go forward strategy recommendation for more than 120 p&l's across healthcare, energy, telecom, transportation and energy sectors. This report is summarized and presented to the managing board for approval. I am grateful for this amazing opportunity!

Key highlights:

Siemens Healthcare had invested more than $2.0B in the USA to acquire two large corporations. I was the project lead for the team which coordinated and developed KPI's and strategy for profitable growth. 

Analyzed and assessed growth opportunities in the Oil & Gas sector, leading to the creation of a separate oil & gas services division

Assessed cost saving strategies for telecommunications division in Switzerland, leading to consolidation of R&D teams globally

I’m fascinated by the power of digitization and how "connectedness" is creating powerful digital ecosystems. Even further, the growth of decentralized trust models, digital assets and its interplay in a regulated environment is simply mind boggling.

Applying this to healthcare is one of my greatest passions. I continually learn from global innovators in this space, and find new opportunities to invest, partner and consult with both large healthcare organizations intent on starting a digital transformation journey.
