Big news: Aryel has been acquired by Onetag. This definitely deserves a photo dump with some of the people who made the ride unforgettable.

Aryel joins Onetag with a clear goal: helping shape a new value model for the open web, one where media, creativity, and AI decisioning actually work together to drive real outcomes.

The industry has become increasingly fragmented over the years: too many layers, too little accountability. This acquisition is about going the other way: simplifying, consolidating, and contributing to a stronger open web ecosystem as a real alternative to the walled gardens.

Together, we’re now 130+ people across Italy, the UK, Spain, and North America, combining complementary skills under one shared vision.

Personally, I see this as one of those rare moments when things click: the right timing, the right direction, the right people around the table.

I’m an entrepreneur, advisor, and investor working where fashion, media, and technology meet — which sounds like a tagline, but really just means I build things where creativity and business drive each other.

Currently, I’m CEO & Co-Founder of Aryel, a fast-growing AdTech company. We’ve raised $4M+, grown 180% year-over-year, and built a 55+ person team across Milan and London. I lead strategy, partnerships, and business development — collaborating with global brands like Barilla, Condé Nast, Dolce & Gabbana, Samsung, Ferrero, YSL, and many more.

Beyond Aryel, I consult with companies looking to evolve their marketing (ideally without relying on buzzwords) and advise early-stage startups trying to build something valuable and scalable.

I’m also the author of “Realtà aumentata nel marketing” (Flaccovio Editore, 2021), and a contract professor at IULM, EMBA Ticinensis, UniMarconi, and the University of Bergamo — where I teach marketing, tech, and the occasional reality check. I’ve filed several patents, mostly around emerging technologies, and in 2022, I was named one of Forbes Italy’s Top 100 Under 30 in Marketing.

Aryel è stata acquisita da Onetag. Scriverlo mi riporta inevitabilmente a cinque anni fa, quando ho preso un treno per Firenze, per convincere Luca e Leonardo a lasciare il lavoro per costruire Aryel insieme. E, qualche mese dopo, lo stesso con Vincenzo ed Elena.

Da allora abbiamo lavorato tanto e scelto spesso la strada più difficile: costruire con disciplina, restando fedeli ai fondamentali del business. Abbiamo sempre cercato di crescere in modo sano, restando concentrati su unit economics, sostenibilità e profittabilità, concentrati sull’obiettivo di trasformare una start-up in una vera azienda.

Questa operazione nasce da una convinzione condivisa: l’open web ha bisogno di modelli più integrati, dove media, creatività e AI decisioning lavorino insieme per generare risultati tangibili.

Con Onetag condividiamo visione e approccio. Insieme diventiamo un gruppo di oltre 130 persone tra Italia, UK, Spagna e Nord America, con competenze complementari e una direzione comune.

A partire da quella prima volta in cui, mi sono trovato nel loro ufficio, a 25 anni appena compiuti, in un giovedì di pioggia interminabile a Milano.

Questo non è un punto di arrivo. È un nuovo capitolo, che inizia con la stessa curiosità e la stessa voglia di costruire con cui siamo partiti. Insieme.
