Additionally, I worked on culture branding, ensuring that our workplace was known for being fun, inclusive, and driven by purpose.

Beyond the usual HR tasks, I organized community-building activities that helped everyone feel like they belonged and were part of something special. My goal is to create a young, enthusiastic, and motivated team that was eager to take on challenges and achieve great things together.

- Distributed Data Aggregation Crawling System: Designed and implemented a distributed web crawling architecture to automate the aggregation of datapoints from a wide range of platforms, including Google, Amazon, Deliveroo, Walmart. The system is built to scale and is resilient to the diverse and frequently changing structures of target websites and APIs.

- AI Driven dynamic Crawling Strategy: Leveraged AI agents powered by LangChain and OpenAI to dynamically determine crawling strategies based on domain type—be it HTML pages, REST APIs, or GraphQL endpoints. These agents made real-time decisions to optimize crawling paths and adapt behavior intelligently, enhancing both efficiency and coverage of review data based on the usecase.

- Bypass Mechanisms and Session Optimization: Incorporated proxy rotation using proxy servers, browser session reuse, and persistent cookies to navigate through geo-restrictions, login barriers, and CAPTCHA challenges, maintaining crawler reliability and coverage without manual intervention.

- MDR Integration for Enhanced Payout Calculations: Integrated the Merchant Discount Rate (MDR) functionality, focusing on the calculation of doctor payouts based on multiple payment channels. Incorporating with an interface with Razorpay and Salesforce, to fetch configurable MDR percentages. By enabling precise retrieval of MDR data for various payment channels, contributed to streamlining the payout calculation process, ensuring that doctors receive accurate compensation reflective of the different payment channels utilized. This integration aided the platform's financial infrastructure by minimizing potential revenue leak.

 - Enhanced Monitoring and Error Resolution: Utilized the ELK stack to implement comprehensive dashboards and effective generic error handlers for API error logs. This enhancement boosted monitoring efficiency and reduced error resolution time by 73%, enabling the business to quickly identify and resolve potential issues, thereby greatly improving the overall user experience.

- Legacy System Modernization: Directed the comprehensive upgrade of legacy codebases to leverage the latest NestJS versions, modernizing the software infrastructure to enhance performance and maintainability.

- Architecture of part-payments and developed the Partial Payments functionality for the Doctors Portal, aimed at streamlining the invoice generation process by allowing flexible, part-payment options for patients which includes the generation of receipts, efficient handling of refunds for every part-payment, and a user-centric approach to managing payments through advance balances, including making part payments against them. This solution led to more efficient operations, providing doctors a smoother workflow and patients a flexible payment methods.

- Database Performance Enhancement: Analyzed and reduced the load on our Hyperscale database, identifying high-load queries via Percona reports and executing targeted optimizations based on the usecase. Through meticulous Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and strategic adjustments, achieved a significant reduction in database load from 221.19 to 147.27 and query execution rate from 18.95 to 6.23 queries per second, markedly improving system efficiency and reliability.

- Spearheaded Architecture and development of the Rewards feature within the Doctors Portal, directly resulting in a 40% surge in ABHA appointments and prescriptions from the first month since the launch of the feature.

- Engineered an in-house server-side notification service employing WebSockets to facilitate real-time, bidirectional communication between client-server, enhancing user engagement and system responsiveness.

- Configured the process of integrating dynamic data points by incorporating Firebase Remote Config service, significantly improving the system's adaptability and user-centric realtime dynamic customization capabilities.

- Led the optimization of APIs of the gateway microservice, leveraging Elasticsearch insights to enhance query performance and API response times. Achieved a substantial reduction in the 90th percentile of response times, alongside implementing crucial security enhancements and ensuring backward compatibility. This initiative significantly bolstered system efficiency and reliability.

- Crafted and managed RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications, designing intuitive API endpoints, request/response structures, and authentication mechanisms to support seamless system integration.

- Spearheaded the integration of Azure Service Bus - a messaging queue within the Reporting Module to establish asynchronous communication across microservices, enhancing system performance, scalability and reliability.

- Development of Healthpay - an epic feature designed to revolutionize digital payments for medical professionals. This project entailed close collaboration with cross - functional teams to design and implement a secure, user-friendly platform that streamlines financial transactions between patients and healthcare providers.

- Demonstrated proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD) by authoring comprehensive unit tests using Jest, significantly elevating SonarQube code coverage metrics across various microservices. Achieved a substantial reduction in Lines of Code (LOC), minimized code duplication, and refined the codebase through the strategic application of design patterns. This not only improved code maintainability but also markedly reduced code smells and resolved Sonar bugs, thereby elevating the overall code quality.

Software Development Engineer at Birdeye, with a Bachelor's of Technology in Information Technology from Symbiosis Institute of Technology. My professional journey has been deeply rooted in backend development, with a significant focus making sure that systems scale as per demand.

My technical expertise spans a variety of tech, including Java, Python, C#, and JavaScript. I have developed a strong foundation in tech such as NodeJS, NestJS, ExpressJS, Spring Boot, Typescript, MongoDB, Mongoose, MySQL, OAuth, JWT, SonarQube, Microsoft Azure among others. In my role, I leverage these technologies to architect and develop microservices from ground up to production level, focusing on both asynchronous (Event-driven) and synchronous systems, with an emphasis on secure and efficient data handling, API development, and database optimization. 

At Bajaj Finserv Health, I have had been responsible for the full software development lifecycle, contributing to the development of critical backend services such as billing, invoice, and reporting microservices. My work ensures these services are efficient, reliable, and meet our business needs. Furthermore, I have extensive experience with a broad set of tools and tech platforms including ElasticSearch, NGINX, Kafka, Redis, and message queue services such as Azure Service Bus. which I utilize to develop RESTful microservices catering to various functionalities.
