Fitness Instructor

As a subject matter expert in leadership development and group fitness & wellness coaching, I lead cohorts of instructors through a certification training for 305 Fitness' proprietary method. 

In my experience as a member of the development team for training curriculum & facilitation materials, I regularly meet with the CEO and Program Manager to provide feedback for the improvement and expansion of the training and recruitment strategies for new instructors. 

Lastly, I serve as an ongoing resource for the continued professional development of the Certified Instructors who join the community through continued leadership coaching, class evaluations and strategic business development guidance.

As the department lead for the Instructor Certification Program at 305 Fitness, I helped to develop the program and scale it to over 1000 trained instructors. I enjoy working with startups who are cutting edge in terms of what they're creating in the world. 

From building operational systems and processes to organizing events and breathing life into our founder's vision - birthing dreams is what I do!

I grew our Certified Community to 1000+ certified instructors and retained 90%+ of active instructors in our subscription-based program model. Supported the recruitment and sales processes, training and curriculum development as well as ongoing programming and instructor retention effort.

After a successful first year as Small Door's Employee Experience Specialist, I was eager to expand the scope of my work to include other professional passions within the world of learning & development. 

In 2024, I have worked on projects such as: 

- Onboarding a new remote CX & Sales team to support our in-practice member experience efforts. This included building training roadmaps for 3 roles and a team of 10, organizing and facilitating two weeks of live training sessions, and supporting with ongoing Q/A, performance monitoring and 1:1 coaching to support 90% retention of new hires and strong CSAT and sales metrics. 

- Launching a leadership learning and development bootcamp for our practice leaders on themes such as de-escalation, change management, and financial performance strategy + monitoring KPIs with 51% average active participation rate for target audience. 

- Designing a holistic Career Development Program to retain high performing talent and extend tenure of participants in each cohort for minimum of one years noting specific KPIs to measure success and monitoring/reporting process.

- Project managing a cross functional Employee Engagement project including designing an employee pulse survey, hosting strategic planning session to address team feedback, creating and managing a RACI project tracker to organize priorities and drive momentum on initiatives to increase eNPS by a minimum of 20% within a 6 month span.

The Brackins Creative Agency is a service provider in the creative & web development industry. In response to the profound realization that a number of the agency's clients did not have the foundational elements to ensure the success of their businesses, the agency launched the Table of 10 program. 

The Table of 10 Program is a year long business mastermind & lifetime community membership for Black women. The program is designed to help our enterprenuers build their business with integrity and cultivate the access, power and wealth they need to scale their vision. The primary mission of the program is to successfully develop a coalition of 100+ Black women millionaires by 2025. 

As Director of Programming & Engagement, I am overseeing the:
- Development & implementation of the program infrastructure
- Ongoing operational excellence of the program management
- Recruitment and Sales strategy to support the program growth
- Community retention, engagement and client experience efforts
- Instructional design for all program offerings

I supported the creation of choreography for 3 productions of a now Tony Award-winning Broadway musical.

I documented and preserved choreography during and in-between each production to maintain the spirit, quality, and integrity of the choreography.
