As the Business Development Lead at 7 Eagle Group, a specialized recruiting firm focusing on IT and cybersecurity roles for veterans and transitioning service members through the DOD Skillbridge Program, I play a pivotal role in driving growth and forging meaningful connections within the industry.

Responsibilities:

Business Development Lead

United States Air Force

Managed professional growth and development of 84 personnel by scheduling training and managing operational mission schedules. Led 24 Team building activities to enhance working relationships and team cohesion. Supervised, trained and motivated 22 front line supervisors. Assessed individual skills of six teams and delegated daily tasks based on strengths.

Flight Chief

Most of my time in this role was spent serving as the enlisted lead for the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System Formal Training Unit (Tactical/First Phase Intelligence). I managed a team of 11 Air Force and civilian Instructors that taught seven different Intelligence functions with a throughput of 280 students per year. Additionally, I managed manning, development, budget, and performance reports for 33 active duty, civilian and contractor staff   

STAR: The Air Force conducted a study around 2015 and concluded that airmen who exploited full-motion video analysis were suffering from burn-out and in some cases PTSD. As a direct result of this study, I was tasked to integrate resiliency training material into three intelligence specialty training courses. I traveled to multiple operational bases and collaborated with four Operational Psychologists to develop training material that would be used by over 1000 Airmen. The training material that was developed from my efforts was recognized as a Head Quarters Air Force level Best Practice.

Flight Chief/Air Force Imagery Analysis Course

I operated a 28 million-dollar Electro-Optical, Infrared, and Synthetic Aperture Radar sensor system and Moving Target Indicator equipment. Performed preflight and post-flight sensor inspections for 71 million dollar aircraft. Identified issues with sensor equipment and conducted troubleshooting methods for resolution.

STAR: I struggled early in this position. Sensor Operation was incredibly technical and vastly different from my previous Air Force experience which was mostly analytical. The situation was that I sucked at this job when I first started. My task was to not suck. I threw myself into some uncomfortable situations and stepped in to perform some advanced techniques on a mission when the main subject matter expert had to take emergency leave. That mission was a success and a personal catalyst that helped boost my confidence. I started to become extremely proficient at Sensor Operation and was able to use my initial struggles as a way to help train new Airmen. This job humbled me.

Sensor Operator 

In this role, I was responsible for leading a team of 15 Airmen to exploit still imagery and full-motion imagery from theater and tactical reconnaissance assets in direct support of operations OIF and OEF. 

STAR: My team was directly tasked to support a troops-in-contact situation where a US Army unit was receiving direct fire from insurgents. We were quickly able to identify two enemy fighters that appeared to be directing fire using binoculars and a radio. My team was able to plot the coordinates of the enemy fighters and initiate an airstrike. The airstrike neutralized the enemy fighters and potentially saved US  lives in the Army that was under fire.

Imagery Mission Supervisor

I exploited still imagery from national reconnaissance assets and wrote intelligence reports to keep decision-makers apprised of potential threats to US national security in addition to maintaining situational awareness on the disposition of enemy forces in my area of operations.

STAR: During the early summer of 2006 there was a ballistic missile crisis that garnered global attention. I was tasked with providing daily intelligence status reports of the situation. I produced multiple intelligence products supporting the situation and explained the information in a way that was easily digestible to leaders that had no experience in my field. Some of my products were briefed to the US Secretary of Defense.

Imagery Analyst

I produced imagery products that helped US Aircrew practice target strikes on domestic ranges. My other task in this position was to support war-time efforts by plotting mensurated coordinates using advanced viewing software as part of a federated effort. 

STAR: My unit was tasked to support the United States Marine Corps by dropping coordinates for precision air strikes. This task immediately made me realize why the Air Force placed so much emphasis on attention to detail. One missed decimal could result in disaster. I was incredibly nervous but plotted all my tasked coordinates as directed by my leadership. As a result, my unit and I contributed to a successful ground operation by the USMC.

Imagery Production Analyst/Targeteer 

No matter how hard you train, somebody will train harder. No matter how hard you run, somebody will run harder. No matter how hard you want it, somebody will want it more, I am somebody. 

My passion is placing veterans and transitioning service members into rewarding careers. I work with businesses to help them hire for will and train for skill by using the department of defense Skillbridge program. I'm part of a dedicated team that sources top military talent at a rapid pace enabling businesses to maintain a hiring advantage over the competition.   

During my Air Force career, I was an accomplished operational manager with advanced-level experience in the intelligence career field. I provided leadership for multiple military operations. I supervised and guided teams to reach high-performance standards for over 20 years. 

I work quickly and maintain focus while attending to various projects. I currently offer expertise in training and project management with over 20 years of dedicated service to the United States Air Force. 

In 2017 I was selected by my unit commander to integrate resiliency training material into Air Force Specialty Courses for the intelligence community. I had the honor of collaborating with multiple operational psychologist to develop training material that was ultimately nominated as an Air Force level best practice by my unit.
