As Founder & CEO of The Wellbeing Company Ltd, I lead two divisions serving UK boutique wellness studios:

WEL-B (SaaS – Launching February 2026)
Developing a financial intelligence platform for wellness studios, solving the profitability visibility gap in the boutique fitness market. Overseeing product roadmap, beta partnerships with founding studios, integration strategy, and go-to-market planning for a 1,000+ studio UK market.

Pilates Class UK (Recruitment & Consultancy – Established 2022)
An award-winning recruitment and operations consultancy supporting premium wellness clients, five-star resorts, corporate programmes, and boutique studios. Built from the ground up into a national business within three years.

Expertise:
Expertise in building and scaling wellness businesses, from understanding class-level profitability and studio operations to developing technology that supports growth. Experienced in launching new products, creating efficient systems, and improving performance across wellness brands and digital platforms.

Industry Knowledge:
Deep understanding of boutique wellness business models from launch to multi-location scale, with expertise in instructor economics, timetable optimisation, and profitability drivers. Qualified personal trainer and Pilates mat and reformer teacher.

The Foundation
• Background in personal training and movement — blending Pilates, strength training, and cardio for long-term health and performance
• Spotted a critical gap: Studio's struggling to find talented Pilates instructors, especially outside major cities
• Founded Pilates Class uk in 2022 as a hands-on recruitment and consultancy service for studios, gyms, hotels, festivals, and corporate wellness

Early Growth & Challenges
• Learned the industry from the ground up — doing every role myself
• Faced the realities of scaling a people-heavy business: cash flow struggles, boundary-setting, and burnout
• Grew to support 18,000 bookings in 2024 across the UK
• Delivered large-scale wellness events — including 80+ participant corporate and festival classes — without compromising instructor quality
• Nominated for 13 business awards, winning Business-to-Business Service Provider of the Year in 2025
 
2024 Pivot 

• Hit a crossroads: continue as a labour-intensive agency or rebuild as a systems-led consultancy
• Chose to build properly — brought Rebecca Farley on as Head of Operations
• Today, seven amazing people support Pilates Class operations with stronger systems, processes, and leadership including the new addition of Emma Chase.

The Next Chapter - Two Brands One Business. 
• Identified a wider industry problem: studios struggling with timetable inefficiency, poor instructor utilisation, and hidden unprofitable classes.
• Built WEL-B — an AI-powered timetable optimisation and profitability tool designed to support human decision-making, not replace it
• Incorporated as The Wellbeing Company Global Ltd
• Raised seed investment and reached a seven-figure valuation in 2025
• WEL-B launches this year in the UK, US, and Dubai.

What's Next
• Scaling Pilates Class UK and WEL-B responsibly and with purpose. 
• Supporting wellness professionals globally with data-driven systems that allow consistent performance under pressure.
• Building AI as a foundation for stronger human connection in studio's— not replacing people, but empowering them.
