Early on, I relied on my left brain way too much. I didn't know myself, and I let conditioning, fear, and over-sensitivity rule my life.

This led to choosing a wrong degree, starting in a wrong career, and being who I wasn't for many years.

I kept showing up in a certain way, and then blamed others for not really seeing me!
I kept feeling frustrated and angry, and didn't know why.

Gradually, I came to see that expression, creativity, empathy, inspiration, and intuition are all a big part of me, too.

I've embraced my left and right brain strengths, and worked through much of the pain, struggles, and resistance I had built up over the years.

Now, I bring everything I've learned to help others bring out their full potential and the parts of themselves they have ignored for too long.

Originally from the UK, I worked in accounting before heading abroad at 26. I spent a year in Australia and then taught Business English in Japan, where I also wrote test items for their national English test company.

I moved to Canada in 2009 to live at a meditation center. Now I support the center virtually and run local classes here in Calgary. You're welcome to join the online meditation circle I co-founded in 2020 for people who want a regular meditation practice.

By living and working in mindful communities for 15 years, I've learned so much about myself and others, how teams interact, and how the shadow can wreak havoc. Human Design and BG5 came to me from a chance encounter when I challenged myself to meet a group of new people - the kind of thing I'm designed to do. It's given me a framework that brings all my skills together to help others.

How do you define a prosperous life?  

Most people think prosperity is solely about finances and assets, 
and about a life that is in the future. 

True prosperity, however, is more about the QUALITY of the life you have than the things you own.
While financial wealth can enhance your experience of prosperity, 
it can't create your prosperous life.

You CAN experience a prosperous life even if you don't have a lot, 
and it is something that you can experience NOW.

I know what it's like to be constantly chasing someone else's picture of a prosperous life.
As a Third Culture Kid, I saw many versions of a prosperous life depending on where we were living at the time, and it created expectations of life that weren't necessarily a good fit.
That created a lot of unnecessary stress!
My wake-up call happened when I experienced burn-out in my first job out of university.
This led me on a long journey of discovering who I really was and what I wanted out of life.
It involved career changes, multiple relocations, reconfigurations of relationships, personal and professional development, and challenging experiences where it didn't seem like I was prospering at all.

In the process I learned that:
       💡Prosperity starts on the inside. 
     💡 Prosperity is more about quality than quantity.  
   💡 Prosperity is a shared experience.  
 💡Prosperity is a gift I need to be willing to receive.
💡Prosperity is built on the pillars of: Quality relationships, Meaningful contributions, Personal wellbeing, Rest and recreation, and Spirituality (Connection to a bigger picture)

These insights have brought me into an expanding experience of prosperity, living a life of purpose that aligns with who I am and what is most important to me.
