I'm Andrew

I’m the former growth lead at two high-volume PLG businesses: Director of Growth at Wistia, and Head of Growth at Postscript.

I’ve been where you are.

I’ve built and scaled growth teams from scratch, run hundreds of experiments, and made every mistake in the book. I know what "good" looks like, and I know how overwhelming it can feel without mentorship from someone who's done your job.

Delivering Value offers coaching & advising for product-led growth teams.

Because scaling a product-led business is hard. It's a really effective go-to market model, when done right. But, it’s still relatively new and most companies don’t have someone with extensive PLG experience. 

That means you spend a lot of time and money making mistakes trying to figure it out. Or, you feel overwhelmed by all the content out there, trying to teach yourself.

That’s were the idea of Delivering Value was born. To help early-stage tech companies save time by avoiding common mistakes, learn proven frameworks & methods instead of trying to figure it out themselves, & ultimately grow faster.

My current focus in on Canadian Health through my work at Shoppers Drug Mart where I lead the PC Health App. I am a Venture Partner at Ripple Ventures, a PLG Coach at ProductLed, and an LP at GTMfund, where I advise and invest in companies that leverage product-led growth (PLG) and user onboarding strategies to scale their revenue and retention. With over 15 years of experience in product, operations, and sales engineering roles, I have built and led teams and programs that drive user adoption, engagement, and satisfaction across various industries and markets.

My mission is to help companies create and deliver products that solve real customer problems and generate value for both the users and the business. I do this by applying data-driven, customer-centric, and agile methodologies, as well as sharing best practices and insights from my own learnings and mistakes. I am passionate about PLG and user onboarding because I believe they are the key to building sustainable and scalable businesses in the digital era. I spent a lot of time in 2025 thinking about my relationship with my career. Working with a coach to understand what brings me energy, what takes my energy, in what situations I do my best work etc. I turned 40 not too long ago. So lots of questions swirling in my head about career.

In early December that thinking was put to good use when I started talking to Stephen Noone O'Connor at 1Password. We spoke about the industry. How the company works. The opportunity in the self-serve / PLG segment and how that fits into the mission of building a safer, simpler digital future for everybody.

My work with a coach wasn’t about making a career change. But that work did ready me for when the opportunity came.

Canadians want to live healthier lives. I believe this happens by identifying, adopting and maintaining health habits. And it’s a lot easier to do this with an accountability partner.

The Digital Health team at Shoppers is building that digital accountability partner. Through easy online medication management, simplifying access to healthcare providers, bringing patient data forward to better understand progress, and surrounding that in timely education and personalized insights. If anybody can improve health for Canadians, this company can.

I’m grateful to have contributed to this vision for the ~3 years. This month, I’m feeling bittersweet about moving on from my role leading the health apps experience at Shoppers.

There's lots of people to thank for making my time at Shoppers great. You all know who you are, so I’ll spare the long list. I will call out Aaron Cheng. You’ve been a great leader; holding a high bar and building the psychological safety to do great work.

I always wondered why ppl write long thank you messages on Linkedin and then write ‘stay tuned for what’s next’. My life isn’t a TV show, and there’s no cliffhanger here for ppl to tune into. What I did realize is that thanking a group of ppl means dedicating the space to them with no distractions. For that reason, I’ve kept this post focused on them.
