2026 is the year of AI implementation.

Most startups and SMEs I speak to understand the urgency. What they don’t know is where to start - so they start anywhere.

Get Your Business AI Ready

Claude just changed what a “coworker” can be. This is a very big deal!

Yesterday Anthropic launched Claude Cowork, and it’s one of the most important AI releases for business operators, not just developers.​

What is Claude Cowork?
Cowork brings Claude Code’s powerful “agent” capabilities into a simple desktop app.​​
You:
➡️Give it access to a specific folder on your computer
➡️Describe a task in plain language
➡️Let it work through your files while looping you in with updates and confirmations​​
➡️Think of it as a digital colleague that lives directly in your filesystem, not just in a browser tab.​

What can it actually do for a business?
Because Cowork can read, write, and organise local files, it can step into a lot of “real work” that normally clogs calendars and consumes headcount.​

A few examples:
➡️Operations:
Clean up shared drives, standardise naming, and build “source of truth” docs from scattered notes and PDFs.​
Turn weekly status docs into structured trackers and summaries for leadership.​

➡️Finance & admin:
Sweep a folder of statements/receipts, extract the important data, and generate reconciled spreadsheets or simple dashboards.​
Highlight unusual spend or missing documents.

➡️Sales & marketing:
Organise client folders, summarise past interactions, and draft proposals or recap emails from existing docs.​

It nudges organisations toward an AI‑first operating model, where routine knowledge work is delegated, and humans focus on judgment, relationships, and creativity.​

Everyone has AI now. The winners are using it differently.

I’ve been reading Gong’s State of Revenue AI 2026 report and it backs up what I’m seeing in GTM teams right now:

AI adoption is wide. Revenue impact isn’t.

The gap isn’t “who has an AI tool”.

It’s depth of adoption whether AI is bolted onto the side, or built into how you run revenue.

Here’s what stood out for Sales + GTM:

1) The new growth lever is productivity (not more headcount)

2025 was flatter than most teams wanted. Fewer reps hit quota, and sellers worked fewer opportunities.

So in 2026, leaders are treating productivity like a proper growth strategy - not a nice-to-have.

2) The best teams have moved from “automation” to “decision support”

Last year was a lot of:
note-taking
content help
admin shortcuts

This year’s shift is towards AI being used for:
forecasting
pipeline risk signals
deal execution decisions
measuring if strategic initiatives are actually working

That’s where the compounding gains happen.

3) Domain-specific Revenue AI beats generic “AI everywhere”

The report makes a strong case that revenue-specific AI (built for sales workflows) is where the impact shows up - not random tools used in isolation.

4) Who’s winning?

The teams who:
➡️make AI part of their operating rhythm (forecast, pipeline, deal reviews)
➡️standardise the few use cases that matter (not 50 experiments)
➡️invest in adoption + training, not just licences
➡️treat “shadow AI” as a governance issue (because it is)

If you’re leading GTM in 2026, here’s the practical takeaway

Stop asking: “What AI tools should we try?”
Start asking: “Where do deals stall, and what decisions are we making too late?”

That’s the work that pays.

Question: where would AI make the biggest difference in your revenue motion right now, pipeline, forecasting, or deal execution?

In the last 2 weeks I stopped guessing which videos would work and started using real data and the results were genuinely eye-opening!

We all know how hard it is to keep up when you’re pushing out loads of content. 

Trying to figure out what actually makes a video perform (or flop) across dozens of Reels/TikToks is almost impossible to do manually.

So I’ve been testing Aggero on a batch of real beauty brand videos and partnered with their CEO, Cristian Manea, to dig into the why behind video performance.

Here’s what I did:

Pulled together a full set of UGC + paid videos (not just the winners)

Analysed them for repeatable patterns - from what creators were saying to how they were saying it.

Turned the learnings into clearer briefs I can actually give creators!

Some of the most useful findings:

✅ Videos that mentioned the product benefit early saw a +16.5% lift
❌ Personal stories that didn’t link back to the product saw an -18% drop
✅ Hooks with expressive facial cues in the first 5 seconds delivered a +62% engagement lift

The biggest change for me: 

I’ve stopped approving content on gut feel and started using a simple, data-backed checklist (hook, early benefit, single clear point, no wandering storylines).
