Working with entrepreneurial students and particularly ones working on AI is my absolute passion. And so with that I am super honored to be able to be a judge for the Presidential AI Challenge. Students will first compete on a state level and winners from each state will then go on to a regional competition and then to a final competition held in DC. 

There is still a need for additional judges so if you work in the field of AI and have a passion for working with kids shoot me a DM.

This was the first thing I thought of when I was asked to author a chapter in this upcoming book on mentorship. I also freaked out a little bit because writing is definitely not my thing. 

But here we are, the book is going to be published soon and is chock full of amazing humans sharing their perspective on mentorship. Grateful to be a part of such an incredible book.

The founder 50… 
Over the course of the last two years while co-founding AskBobAI I’ve probably put on 50 pounds. While I’m certainly not proud of it, I am ok with it. 

See I made choices over the past two years because of the season I was in. Now, starting off 2026 I consciously made this the year of health. I know myself and my capabilities and I know that the 50 will be gone fairly quickly. I don’t regret prior decisions, I just pivot when the season changes for me. 

While speaking to the kids at Amp Lab at Electric Works last week one student asked me what bad advice I had received in life. 

Rather than give something specific, I told them to take advice with a grain of salt. Not everyone’s advice will fit the season you are in and the important thing is to be ok with the decisions you make. 

Now that being said, time to get my butt back into the gym. 😎

One of our clients has seen an increase in usage by 4x. They went from 60 questions a day to 240. This is because we are dedicated to focusing on adoption. We added another delivery channel for more folks to have access and the immediately results were amazing, contributing to even higher ROI for our client.

A little over 12 years ago, I felt like I was on a sinking ship.

I was VP of a $120M division, managing people older than me, and I even leapfrogged my boss and was now managing him.  Plus our division was the largest profitability contributor to the almost $1B company!  

All this to say, I got a lot of visibility from the executive team.

The stress caused me to skip the gym, skip quiet time, and miss out on family time. 

Always working or thinking about work.

I was winning at work, but losing at home.

Winning on the outside, but losing on the inside.

I knew there had to be a better way!

So, I hired an executive coach and it changed my life.

I started living differently.  
My priorities changed.  
I established boundaries. 
I had better accountability.
I pushed through self-limiting beliefs.
Plus gained tools to help others around me.

I became a better leader at work AND at home.

I ended up taking one more corporate move where I was President of Sales for a national contractor. 

I led the national team of 30 sales people as my coach led me.

Purpose over profits.
Personal AND professional goals.
Time management and schedule control.

What happened shocked me!!

Just as I got better individually, so did most of the sales team!

Not only did they get better personally, but our company profitability improved.

That's when I decided I had to do this for a living. 

About 5 years ago, I went full time into helping business leaders win at work and at home.

And it is working!

During that time I have coached 200+ leaders in 1:1 or small group coaching, as well as 115+ talks equipping leaders to win at work and home.
