Responsibilities and achievements include:
- Creating and maintaining a highly adaptable and brandable UI Framework based on ASP.NET.  The framework is used as a basis for many projects and includes a login framework, a validation framework and a questions framework (for rendering forms).
- Creating high-specification branded prototypes for new services/products using XHTML, CSS and JQuery. Examples include high-spec prototypes for www.getliferight.co.uk  and for Partnership's latest Annuity offering (not yet live).  Both of these prototypes were crucial in securing multi-million pound deals. I have also produced high-spec prototypes for updated versions of two of 1st - The Exchange's flagship products - the Term and Annuities quote services.
- Maintenance of existing Financial Advisor Portal - www.exchange.co.uk using Classic ASP.
- Providing CSS and JavaScript support on all of 1st - The Exchange's products.
- Creation of new administration system using ASP.NET 2.0 development using VB.NET and Visual Studio 2005. Included creation of a Presentation Layer, building new and modifying existing ASP.NET controls and consuming web services on a new 3-tier architecture. All new screens built using standards compliant XHTML.
- UI Analysis - creating prototypes/wireframes and creating UI specification documents for new administration screens.

Senior UI Developer

Responsibilities and achievements included:
Analysis and maintenance of new and existing products within the Financial Advisor Portal - www.assureweb.co.uk, adhering to the latest Origo Specifications. Including production of screen and XML specifications, work estimates, development and unit test plans.  Extensive use of XML, XSLT and JavaScript.

Responsibilities and achievements included:
Maintenance of, and later management of, the company's Intranet and Internet sites (www.nelsonthornes.com) ensuring they adhered to the latest accessibility standards set out by SENDA and the W3C.  Main technologies used were XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, XSLT and PHP. Macromedia Contribute and ColdFusion.
Designing and developing online subscription resources.
Designed the company Intranet in ColdFusion, which is still in use today with very little change.
Creating procedures and guidelines regarding web content and disseminating them throughout the company.
