Senior Marketing Executive

Astor Bannerman (Medical) Ltd Group

My job was to devise and implement strategic marketing plans and manage all B2B marketing activity for the Astor-Bannerman group of companies.

Within my role I researched the target market and raised brand and product awareness through integration of inbound and outbound lead generation marketing activity including management of all social media, email marketing and website content and design to engage target audience and comply with the SEO tactics including content marketing, PPC and assessing analytics and reporting on KPIs.

In addition, I handled all PR activity to create compelling Case Studies, White Papers, E-Books and Press Releases as well as managed and executed integrated marketing campaigns.  I selected and designed all marketing collateral including literature, exhibition displays and promotional items and liaised with suppliers to negotiate the best prices. Initiating and maintaining excellent supplier relations was something I prided myself on.

In my role I analysed the market and buyer behaviour as well as the innovative marketing trends to aid my personal and organisational growth.

Key achievements included, improving internal and external communications, successful re-branding and implementation of marketing campaigns for additional new companies within the Astor-Bannerman group - Active Bathing (Care Home equipment) and Aveso Ltd (Changing Places equipment) and managed website re-design for Astor-Bannerman, Active Bathing and Aveso Ltd resulting in significantly increased traffic flow and conversion rates.  I also devised, organised and presented at the first Changing Places Conference and appeared on BBC Radio promoting the organisation on multiple occasions.  In addition I organised and managed training workshops and opening events for venues with our equipment and continue to develop relationships with international clients and suppliers.

Main duties included, budget management, lead generation, implementation and communication of price changes to clients and dealers.

I also executed regular detailed sales reports for company Directors and Managers, liaised with OTs, Architects, Designers, Specifiers, Building Contractors, Care Professionals and end users.  I also regularly attended, minuted and contributed to sales, operations and senior management meetings.

In addition I also sought tender opportunities and submited complex applications as well as managed Intellectual Property and Patents.

Personal Assistant to Sales & Marketing Director

As a temporary Service Contract Co-ordinator, my main focus was to bring outstanding service work and contract distribution up to date.

This involved contacting clients to arrange service, maintenance and repair visits for their equipment, allocating and scheduling Engineer workload, preparing all documentation relating to service and breakdown calls, creating and maintaining a working digital log of all service contracts.

I also created and maintained individual client files, actively contacted existing and new clients with service and maintenance contract offers and processed service and repair orders on internal CRM system.

In addition I would answer sales based calls and provide advice where appropriate, provide holiday and sickness cover for quotation processing, order processing, installation management and scheduling.

During my time in this role my key achievements included bringing overdue service visits up to date and creating a new digital tracking system for contract management.
