The Organization Workshop gets to the heart of partnership in organization life – why partnership is critical to organizational success, what gets in the way of it developing, and the role of leaders in making it happen. Here, participants are given a whole new lens for seeing, understanding and moving past the roadblocks to success. They are dropped into roles as top executives, middle managers, workers and customers interacting in a fast-paced environment, experiencing situations that regularly occur in these positions. Very quickly it all becomes real–just like what they face day-to-day.

• Help people move from current state to future desired states - managing transition.
• Focus on organizational culture, adoption and capacity - as they relate to change. 
• Collaborate with training coordinator with the intent of matching training plans to culture and needs of the organization (Coaching Managers, User Productivity Kit, and Train-the-Trainer).
• Serve as coach to change sponsors, managers and end users. 
• Lead the communication plan, assess audience and senders for key messaging.

Change Management Lead

The Human Resources Change Resilience Development Program is a comprehensive training program for administrative managers and directors designed to prepare participants to lead change projects stemming from Strategic Directions and other initiatives. As part of the change resilience staff team, I:

• Facilitated the integration of change experiences and models for a small group of leaders in between monthly workshops through active inquiry and change models;
• Explored issues and successes of change projects in a learning environment;
• Helped navigate "self-in change" for change leaders and relationships.

Change Resilience Group Facilitator

• Member of a dynamic team whose mandate is to support student agency, engagement and leadership - through coordination, coaching, facilitation, mentor-ship, triangulating relationships and training workshops. 

• Responsible for supporting student leadership transition (incoming/outgoing) as they begin their mandates, namely through facilitating leadership tools and coordinating Orientation/Frosh planning. 

• Engage stakeholders through planning key meetings with students and university departments, communicating and steering Orientation/Frosh information and planning processes, coordinating a central booking calendar system, and providing mentor-ship on event planning and logistics. 

• Lead and support the evaluation of Orientation/Frosh culture change processes. Compile and analyze data and prepare reports and recommendations.

• The approach and focus of my facilitation is on sustaining culture change goals around student Orientation planning to be more collaborative, inclusive, safe, and sustainable. This work also focuses on individual and group development, mediation and relationship building.

• Design, schedule and facilitate the training of the Safe Serve Program (SSP). This program certifies community members to serve alcohol on campus (2-3 sessions per month of approx. 15 people). The purpose of this program is to educate servers on how to reduce alcohol-related harms through safer serving.

• Active Member Change Makers Forum at Concordia.

Culture Change Facilitator

• Co-created vision and business development of a re-imagined and re-purposed community space. 

• Created and implemented best practices for formal booking processes, accounting, and event assistant training.

• Facilitate expectations of diverse stakeholders (students, internal and external clients) and variety of events. 

• Manage booking processes of community venue and a team of 12 student event assistants while   hosting on average 35 events/month.

• Market and promote the venue. Copy write social media, brochures, posters, and website.

Manager - Community Venue

• Deliverables: As a member of the coordination team, I helped organize the work of a cohort of 19 people who together coordinated, facilitated and designed an Experiential Learning Workshop on "Thinking Traps" for the Lester B. Pearson School Board. The 2nd deliverable was to coordinate the production of a comprehensive Client Report and Record of Work spanning over 6 months of work. 

• Contribution: Ability to balance the different work styles and visions of each work team; embody coordination skills of diplomacy and active listening while paying attention to detail and holding the big picture. Regular monitoring of individual and team morale.
