You don’t need 10 hours a week to create content.

You probably need 1–2 focused hours.

That’s it.

Most founders assume content means constantly posting, editing, planning, and managing platforms. So they either avoid it or try to outsource all of it.

There’s a simpler way.

Block out a focused session once a week (or every two weeks). Record a structured conversation about a real problem your clients face. Explain how you see it. Share what most people get wrong. Talk through a recent example.

Don’t aim for polished. Aim for honest thinking.

That recording becomes your raw material.

From there, a team can:
– Turn it into LinkedIn posts
– Cut short-form video
– Write a newsletter
– Publish long-form content

The thought leader’s job is to think out loud.

Everything else is packaging.

We've built growth systems for 300+ B2B businesses. Here's the exact 90-day playbook we use with every client:

Days 1-30: PMF Hypothesis & Assets

Don't start with tactics, start with clarity.

1. Define your ICP (who exactly are you trying to reach?)
2. Define the transformation (where are they now vs. where do you take them?)
3. Define your core beliefs (what beliefs do they need to adopt in order to buy from you?)

Sanity check this with your 3-5 best clients. Ask them: does this sound like you?

Then build two assets:

1. Clear case studies: real examples with the before/after transformation 
2. One landing page or a VSL that articulates who you are, how you help, and what to do next

By day 30, you have a message and the assets to back it up.


Days 31-60: Traffic & Demand

Pick one channel. For most B2B businesses, it's LinkedIn.

Post 3-5x per week rooted in your PMF hypothesis:

1. Talk about the before state (where your ICP is stuck)
2. Talk about the after state (the outcomes they want to achieve)
3. Share your beliefs about how to get there

You don't need to become a full-time content creator.

Just interview yourself or your team and repurpose the transcript into posts, videos, emails.


Days 61-90: Refine what’s working

Start conversations with prospects engaging with your content. Not salesy, be more curious.

"Thanks for liking this, what resonated with you?"

Find out what's landing and double down on it.

Take your top 3-5 posts and run them as ads to your ICP. Content that worked organically will work even harder with a bit of spend behind it.

By day 90, you should have:

✅ A clear message
✅ Assets that sell it
✅ One channel reliably generating demand

That's the foundation of a predictable growth engine.

Referrals will still come, but now you're not dependent on them.
