After 14 years in the creative field, including 7 years in UX and a background in architecture, I’ve coached over 1,000 designers on how to stand out, get hired, and grow with purpose. So far, 500 designers built portfolio with my course.

Most designers don’t struggle with design itself, they struggle with direction, communication, and positioning. That’s where I focus.

UX Designer

I am a transdisciplinary strategist, designer and futurist that finds new perspectives to help organisations innovate towards positive, realistic alternatives to their status quo. The interesting things always seems to happen on the borders, in perspective overlaps and creative frictions.

I grew up in the jungle in Malawi. My dad built the school with mud bricks and my mom, a paediatrician, was my teacher. I've been on the move since then - Africa, Asia, Europe and now the Pacific. 

So far, my career has moved across creative, operations, strategic, digital, design, customer experience and futures domains. My clients have been skateboarders and firefighters, bankers and public servants. I've also been fortunate to work alongside great people in startups, digital agencies, tech firms and design labs.

Someone once said: 'nothing is as powerful as an idea whose time has come'. At the moment, I'm really into the ideas of tech for good, complex systems, innovation methodologies, post-growth realities, ethical AI, transition design, rewilding and design futures.

I find my flow space by making music, climbing snowy mountains and surfing in remote places.
