After 14 years in the creative field, including 7 years in UX and a background in architecture, I’ve coached over 1,000 designers on how to stand out, get hired, and grow with purpose. So far, 500 designers built portfolio with my course.

Most designers don’t struggle with design itself, they struggle with direction, communication, and positioning. That’s where I focus.

➤ Designed and authored new comprehensive 5th grade lessons that met Texas Essential Knowledge, TEKS standards totaling more than 6,000 pages, including all teacher materials
➤ Check that rigor and tone of the curriculum is appropriate for the intended grade-level
➤ Meet weekly with Quality Control and 5 other teams via Slack and Trello to discuss timelines of projects, set team goals, and check-in on the progress of current projects

Curriculum Writer 

Jeffco Public Schools - Colorado

➤ Engaged 130 students at Bell Middle School in 7th Grade science topics in Life and Earth sciences including cells, genetics, plate tectonics and sex education
➤ Taught 150 students at Arvada West High School Earth science, Electricity, and Energy Industry Fundamentals
➤ Created 50+ interactive lessons using Pear Deck, Nearpod, and Quizziz to maximize engagement for both in-person and remote lessons
➤ Teamed with Humanities Professional Learning Community to implement a cross-curricular National History Day community showcase for 130 students
➤ Attended 24 professional development hours of Next Generation Science Standards and began the creation of NGSS aligned units
➤ Partnered with the Advanced Science Research class to build 12 specialized cars for children with special needs through the Go-Baby-Go Foundation
➤ Formed partnerships with Xcel energy and Center for Energy Workforce Development as part of the Energy Industry courses

➤ Led planning and design for 8th grade science curriculum of 200+ lessons including designing real-world, problem-based science lessons that complied with District and State science standards
➤ Teamed with District Science Curriculum Team that created science scopes and sequences for 34 middle schools that met district learning objectives, State science standards and aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards. 
➤ Advised a diverse population of 195 students including 20+ ESL students and adapted teaching methods and curriculum to a broad range of educational needs 
➤ Analyzed academic and behavior data of 200 students to track students’ progress and intervene when appropriate

Beaverton School District

➤ Taught 6th – 10th Grade science classes at International School of Beaverton and Five Oaks Middle School
➤ Established the Middle School STEM Expo, which served 480 students, to meet the increasing demand for students wishing to enter a science, technology, engineering, or math career
➤ Led District professional development training sessions on Google Classroom and AVID Interactive Notebook for 93 teachers
➤ Improved 100% of 8th-grade students’ capacity to construct scientific argumentations that included a claim, evidence, and reasoning
➤ Mentored 14 high school students through individualized science inquiry projects where 93% placed in the top 3 at the regional Intel qualifying science fair  
➤ Integrated technology including Canvas, Google Classroom, and formative assessment applications to enhance science curriculum, track classroom behaviors, and communicate with 300+ parents and 230 students
➤ Constructed project-based inquiry science units that aligned to both MYP and district science standards, which encourages students to see the local and global impacts of science
➤ Developed district standards-based rubrics for grades 6-8 for the Next Generation Science Standards and AVID curriculum that aligned to district learning standards

Battle Ground School District

➤ Taught 9th Integrated Science at Prairie High School				           
➤ Presented Battle Ground School District officials with feedback on standards-based grade system before the district-wide roll out the following year

Seaman School District

➤ Organized 8th grade field trip where 100 students engaged in hands-on field research at a local fossil site
➤ Created year-long 8th grade science curriculum map for Seaman School District 
➤ Participated in a National Science Foundation grant that focused on student-constructed scientific argumentation and evaluation of text

As a Senior Product Designer, I’m all about creating intuitive, visually captivating experiences that strike the perfect balance between function and aesthetics. I have a passion for prototyping, bringing ideas to life quickly and fine-tuning every interaction until it’s just right. Known for my keen eye for detail, I work to ensure each user experience is seamless, polished, and enjoyable. I thrive in collaborative environments, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to align design with both business goals and user needs. My ultimate aim? To deliver products that aren’t just beautiful but are also impactful, highly functional, and a joy to use.

When I’m not diving deep into designs in Figma, you’ll find me out running with my two huskies, Keke and Kylo, who make every mile a mini adventure. I’m also a proud bird nerd, always on the lookout for new feathered friends to photograph—seriously, I can talk birds all day! Whether it’s hitting a new trail, enjoying the newest vegan restaurant , or kicking back in cozy sweats while binging the latest Netflix craze, I’m all about savoring life's simple pleasures.
