I'm now throwing my passion for helping people into helping PhDs, PostDocs, and Mid-Career Researchers get jobs in industry. Hi! I'm Quentin, a data lover who enjoys solving problems, and a professional learner.

When I was a kid, I wanted to study the stars, a goal I partially achieved by becoming an astrophysicist 🔭 (studying the galaxies, not the stars 😅).

After 10+ years of experience in academic research (and living in 3 different countries 🇫🇷🇲🇽🇫🇮), I now want to see something new and transition from a successful academic career to industry, the non-profit sector, or charity initiatives. In particular, I am highly motivated to leverage my expertise in problem solving and data to create a tangible, positive impact on both our planet and society, especially in domains related to healthcare, the environment, and Earth observation initiatives.

I am an experienced data scientist with a strong background in big data analytics, data processing, spatial analysis and remote sensing, quantitative and predictive modeling, and machine learning. I also have strong communication skills, both spoken and written. I am open to a new job opportunity (based in Finland or remote) and to freelance project-based collaborations.

Recently, I started self-studying geospatial analysis, since I developed an interest in the subject and worked on personal projects that I am sharing on GitHub.
