Developed sales including group, corporate, leisure and direct consumer, brand advertising, PR, and marketing for Almond Resorts for the US, Canada, and Caribbean regions.  Increasing overall sales and brand positioning of the company, successfully growing sales revenues by over 140%. Worked with local government and airlines to secure new airlift to the destination and build awareness of the destination to sustain sales growth.

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C.

Established a strong brand and luxury standards in the market luxury standards in an area not known for luxury, eventually leading to further development of additional luxury properties by Marriott and Four Seasons.

Created dynamic packages to promote spa, golf, family, and weekend packages plus negotiating and contracting with top tour operators, corporate business, and luxury travel agents to increase revenues during shoulder seasons. 

Introduced Marriott Hotel's C-Suite to the financial and marketing benefits of OTA's, securing the opportunity for Grande Lakes as a test property, which based on the success, lead to all Marriott brand properties to work with OTA's, securing billions in revenue for the brand. 

Managed sales team through strong tactical and marketing support.  Worked with regional Marriott and Ritz-Carlton Sales Teams, as a liaise to optimize opportunities between the two brands to increase sales, brand marketing, and promotional opportunities, while maintaining brand standards, successfully exceeding budget goals on a yearly basis.

DIRECTOR OF TRAVEL INDUSTRY SALES - CORPORATE AND LEISURE

JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes 

Pre and post-opening Sales Director with a focus on leisure, business corporate, OTA, HNW individuals and incentive sales development, marketing and advertising.  This combined experience was the first opportunity to work with two strong brands in one location, Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott.

The opportunity allowed me to work with a unique blend of tour operators, media, international groups and high profile Tavel Agencies including Virtuoso, Internova, Ensemble and Signature to name a few.  Strong emphasis on networking sales and developing strong relationships with clients was the best form of success, leading to multi-year contracts, the region's highest ADR, and continued sales growth for the properties.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation

Director position handling regional sales and international group for Hyatt's Caribbean resorts and Florida properties.  Worked in this position for five years.  Previously held the Director of International Sales position developing group and leisure sales for Hyatt Regency Pier 66, and overseeing leisure sales at Best Western Oceanside, and Radisson Bahia Mar (all owned by the Huizenga Group).
