Here’s the exact campaign workflow I used, step-by-step.

1. Start with industries that can actually buy
Before I do any outreach, I map out the industries that truly match my ICP.
I use a Google Sheet or build the list directly in the CRM.

☀️  Reason: Pain points differ massively by industry and not every industry is a real use case for your product.
A clean target account list = higher conversion and less wasted effort.

2. Research your personas like crazy
I’ve always sold products with multi-stakeholder impact. That’s a blessing if you do persona work well.

I dig into each persona’s:
pains
KPIs
blockers
motivations

Then I research the actual contacts to make sure every stakeholder is covered.

☀️  Reason: More relevant personas = more chances for meaningful conversations = more meetings booked.

3. Build a clean, accurate contact list
I use database providers to create a validated set of leads.

☀️  Reason: Bad data kills outbound before it even starts.

4. Craft tailored outreach sequences (with soft touches)
I build dedicated email threads for each industry and, whenever possible, cluster personas to refine relevance.

I always include:
- email sequences
- soft touches (e.g., LinkedIn)
- A/B tests for tone and messaging
- alignment with marketing for assets

☀️ Reason: Relevance wins. Visibility compounds.

5. Design a sharp, persona-specific pitch
I always prepare:
a one-minute product explanation
qualification questions
objection handling tailored to each persona
I freestyle in conversations, but preparation gives me confidence.

☀️  Reason: If they don’t “get it” in a minute, they won’t book.

6. Execute → follow the plan → stay consistent
Outreach only works when you stick to the timeline.

7. Measure everything
I track:
call-to-connect rate
call-to-meeting rate
email open rate
email reply rate

☀️  Reason: Data is clarity. Clarity is confidence.
It tells you what to stop, what to scale, and what to tweak.

8. Don’t do it alone, collaborate
My best results always came from tight alignment with:
- marketing 
- AEs
- the entire commercial team

Imagine showing up late… to tell someone they’re unprofessional.



We’re a young company. And yes, for some people, that’s enough to make them uncomfortable. Not because of what we do but because of what they assume.

We had a meeting scheduled via one of our sequences. The prospect had replied to the first email asking for a call.

The call starts… well, almost.

5 minutes pass, no show.
So we call him.
At minute 7, he joins.

And then?
He jumps straight into a rant about startups, young founders, and how “kids shouldn’t run companies.”

Not necessarily about us, but let’s just say we got the full force of all his pent-up frustration.

These 8 tips helped me break into Enterprise accounts most SDRs think are “impossible.”

Here are my top tips to consistently book meetings with Enterprise clients:

1. Research like it’s your superpower
Read earnings calls, annual reports, and press releases. Enterprise buyers can smell generic outreach instantly.

2. Personalize with actual business relevance
Skip the “I saw you’ve been at the company X years…”
Try: “Your CFO mentioned cost pressure in Q2, here’s how similar teams reduced spend by X%.”

3. Multi-thread or die trying
Enterprise decisions are committees. Don’t rely on one champion, map the ecosystem early. Approach multiple. 

4. Lead with insight, not product
Executives care about outcomes: cost, risk, efficiency, speed.
Sell the business impact, not the features.

5. Spot RFPs early (secret weapon)
Enterprise RFPs appear months before buying cycles.
Find them early, submit, and suddenly you’re invited instead of ignored. 

6. Reopen closed-lost deals (there’s gold in there)
Enterprise often means “not now,” not “never.”
Reactivating old opportunities with fresh triggers or new value is one of the highest-ROI motions an SDR can run.

7. Nurture like a pro
Enterprise = long cycles.

If you can’t explain the value, don’t expect the client to understand it.

When I was a little girl, I already understood something most salespeople only learn years into their career:

If you want something, you have to bring value first.

Whenever I wanted something, I wouldn't just ask my mum.
I’d create a contract.

What I wanted.
What she would get in return.
Why this was a win-win.

Back then, it was just my childish version of “negotiation.”
Today, I realise it was my first lesson in value-based selling.

Fast-forward to cold calling
If a prospect doesn’t want a meeting, it’s rarely because they “don’t care.”

It’s usually because:
They haven’t understood the benefit yet
You haven’t connected the dots for them
The value gap is still too wide

If you’ve done your research and know your solution is relevant, then it’s not rejection, it’s feedback.

Try another angle. Adjust your framing. Change the context.
People don’t reject products. They reject unclear value.

In deals, the same rule applies
When clients are sceptical, it’s almost always a sign that your value story isn’t strong enough yet.

Scepticism = unmet expectations + unclear upside
Your job?

Paint a crystal-clear picture in their mind
Show them the “after state” they get to enjoy
Make the benefit feel tangible, emotional, inevitable
