Apart from managing a small team of professionals, my chief responsibilities were strategic marketing communications projects, research, planning, budgeting, coaching staff, project management, proposal writing, content writing and editing.

I am a strategic and creative Marketing Communications leader with over 20 years of experience in professional services and B2B environments. I have successfully executed marketing plans and budgets throughout my career, aligning activities with organizational objectives. I am well-versed in writing, editing, media relations, communications, social media management, digital marketing, and event planning.

Currently, I work in Stakeholder Relations at RECO where I lead and collaborate with a talented team of individuals in the areas of internal and external communications, website management and digital communications. 

As the former Director of Marketing Communications at Crowe Soberman LLP, I spearheaded all marketing, communications, and business development activities, including strategic project research, staff coaching, project management, and proposal writing. I led a diverse team of professionals in digital marketing, social media, event planning, graphic design, and search engine optimization (SEO).  

I am known for my interpersonal skills, demonstrated through developing a client service program that led to the firm winning the 'Best in Accounting' awards for four consecutive years. Collaborating with Executive and Operations teams, I have successfully implemented strategically-important platforms such as MS Dynamics CRM and ERP and Workplace by Meta. 

My educational background includes a BFA from Concordia University, where I graduated at the top of my class, and three years in a masters program at the University of Victoria, where I held an academic fellowship. Additionally, I have the esteemed Chartered Marketer designation awarded by the Canadian Marketing Association in 2018. I continue augmenting my skills and experience by taking certificate courses.

Giving back to my profession, I have volunteered as a Task Force member with the Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM). I am or have held memberships with the Association of Accounting Marketing, International Association of Business Communicators, and PM Forum.
