I didn’t get into IIT.
But today, I work at Google.❤️

Back in college, I couldn’t even imagine this life. My dream was simple. Get placed somewhere decent. Earn maybe 25-30k a month. That felt like success back then. Today, I earn many times more than that.

One thing I struggled with is when people asked where I studied. In India, that question comes up a lot. At Google, most people are from IITs or NITs. When I told my college name, I used to hesitate. But now I  say it out loud and proud.

because, I’ve realised something important.
I’m here.
I work at the same place.
I do the same work.

My college didn’t stop me. My background didn’t limit me.

And this isn’t just about college or jobs.
It’s about how small we allow our dreams to be.

If you’re someone who has been playing safe, choosing what feels practical, keeping your dreams “realistic” - this is for you. I started with small dreams because I didn’t know I was allowed to dream bigger.

I went from a tier-3 college to working at Google. From a shy kid to being a content creator. Not overnight. Not magically. Just by showing up, one step at a time.

Every protein post I saw had the same commenters Maa Ji, Dada Ji, Jethani Ji . Same fears. Same myths. Same confidence.Going viral all over linkedin.

One sounded like a concerned mother. Another warned about “western culture” and chemicals.

Another confidently did protein math using vada pav.

Today I saw the film and it clicked. They weren’t random accounts. They were characters from
the TrueBasics ad.

Honestly? Brilliant pre-buzz. They didn’t tell us protein is misunderstood, they showed us.

The film nails conversations every Indian household has had. And the fact that TrueBasics
backs it with an all-natural protein, heavy-metal tested and safe to trust, makes it land even
harder.

Marketing that understands culture > marketing that shouts claims.

My productivity hack is simple - a cup of coffee. ☕️

Yesterday, someone asked me for career advice.I asked what they were learning these days. 📚
The answer: backend skills and AI.

When I followed up with “What in AI?”, they said: 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐆𝐏𝐓.🤦‍♂️

That one word says a lot & captures the gap perfectly.

AI is everywhere right now. Companies are actively pushing engineers to use it. Workflows are changing. Expectations are changing. Almost every software role now touches AI in some form. 🙌

But using ChatGPT is not the same as learning AI.

It’s learning a tool, not the underlying discipline.

If you genuinely want to learn AI or ML, the basics still matter:

▪️Data fundamentals. NumPy, Pandas, data cleaning.
▪️ Supervised and unsupervised learning.
▪️ How existing models work before reaching for new ones.
▪️ Neural networks and core ML concepts.
▪️ Fine-tuning vs training from scratch.
▪️ What LLMs actually are and where they fit.

In real teams, engineers aren’t hired to “write better prompts.”

They’re expected to build systems.

That means creating internal tools, AI agents, or integrations that:

🔹 Save time for teams
🔹 Improve developer velocity
🔹 Reduce costs
🔹 Increase customer value or revenue

Prompting alone won’t get you there.

We’ve become very comfortable outsourcing thinking to ChatGPT, Gemini, and code agents.  

They can generate code, designs, even entire solutions. 

But without fundamentals, you won’t know what to ask, why you’re asking, or whether the output is even correct.

Tools will keep changing.
The foundation won’t.

Learn the basics first. Then use AI to move faster. 🙌

Everyone loves “we’re a team.”

Team spirit lasts exactly as long as things are easy. After that, survival instincts kick in.

This is one of those ads you only register after you have already spent a few seconds with it.

I found myself comparing them instinctively. And almost immediately, one image felt different. Sharper. More composed. Confident without trying too hard. It didn’t demand attention. It earned it.

Only later did I learn that the standout photo was shot on the newly launched REDMI Note 15.

What stayed with me wasn’t just the camera output. It was the decision behind it. Launching a phone by putting its camera up for a blind comparison on print, after revealing all specs and pricing, takes conviction. Most brands prefer explanations and controlled demos. This one chose to be judged.

That approach has always defined the REDMI Note series. Proof over promises. Showing instead of telling. This didn’t feel like a gimmick. It felt consistent with how the brand thinks.

If details matter to you, this is your camera.
No shortcuts. Just 108 million pixels mastering your moments.

A front page news article caught my attention. 

Smartphone ads usually don’t stand out. They’re optimized for polish, not signal. Like a software demo that only works on the happy path. You see the working, then move on.
This one made me pause.

The visual feels closer to a production scenario than a lab setup. The phone isn’t isolated or protected. It’s shown mid-use. The camera is doing real work. The durability isn’t abstract. It’s visible.

That approach makes sense to me. In software, you trust systems that survive edge cases, not ones that just look good in controlled environments. 

This ad follows the same logic. It doesn’t explain performance. It demonstrates it.

That feels very REDMI Note. Capability-first. Confident. No unnecessary gloss.

I’m still curious about real-world performance. That always matters more. But as a first impression, this is a refreshingly honest way to show a phone.

Last month, I met a school volunteer during a casual conversation. We weren’t talking about work or business. We were just sharing stories. At one point, she mentioned how a simple meal can change the way a child behaves in class, how they sit straighter, ask more questions, and smile more freely.

That conversation stayed with me.
