I currently serve as Executive Director at Literacy Volunteers Fox Valley, a community-based nonprofit offering one-on-one English language tutoring for adults. I oversee strategy, development, program operations, and public messaging - often all in the same day.

Over the past two decades, I’ve worked across adult education and nonprofit leadership, including as a regional consultant, curriculum designer, and frontline instructor. Across all of it, my focus has been helping people and organizations make meaning, navigate complexity, and act with clarity.

My work today still centers adult learning, but it increasingly engages broader questions about communication, community resilience, and institutional longevity. I care deeply about language that is both precise and accessible, and I value strategies that support not just outcomes, but the people behind them.

I regularly speak at adult education conferences on topics such as literacy, volunteer engagement, and systems-level equity. I’m particularly interested in how adults and mission-driven organizations prepare for transitions and what strategies, learning environments, and systems best support growth and alignment through change.
